Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I apologize for the back on forth on this matter, but it seems as though Snyder Tire's representative and myself cannot come to an agreement on this.  My vehicle is only 3 years old and garage kept.  It is only used as a work vehicle on average 4 days a week.  I stand firm that they caused the damage to the parts on my vehicle whenever they were removing the center caps from my wheel and they should pay to replace the 4 damaged center caps.  Again, thank you for your time with handling this matter.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Regards,
[redacted]WOW,  Their response said I was there early (2:47 pm)  I was there at 5:32 pm. (stamped on my receipt as 17:32 military time) they close at 6:pm.Anyone would hurry to do a job that close to closing time.  There was NEVER any swearing or threats in the conversations with the people I had spoken to when I called back.  I asked what I had to do to be taken seriously, take them to small claims court?THEN he hung up on me.I have ONLY been there one other time EVER.  I had tires put on a minivan.  That time, the tech pointed out that the steering was unsafe.  He then fixed it and told me he couldn't do a wheel alignment that was needed due to time and scheduling. He showed me excellent customer service  and was the reason I went back to have tires put on my Chrysler Pacifica. When the wheel cover immediately came missing I really expected to be treated better but was put off by some VERY defensive people.I wasn't unreasonable.  It was there for 11 years.  One visit to this company and it was gone.  simple as that.AS for the 11 people on the "Do not sell list"  If I am on it I was recently placed there for wanting to be treated fairly -This company has lied and attacked me for wanting my car as complete as it was when I took it there.I am not looking for anything moreTheir deceit on this matter is really only proof of guilt.  They should be embarrassed -

Send me pictures of the damage area of each cap. This will allow me to evaluate what caused the damage.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Snyder Tire has apparently taken the stance that the plastic center caps were corroded.  You can clearly see that the clips/prongs that secure the caps to the rim were snapped off due to pressure being applied to them when they were pried out of the wheel.  If they were corroded, they would have crumbled, not snapped.  In the picture, they are seeing the dirt residue and assuming it is either rust or that I am not experienced enough with vehicles to know what caused them to break.  I am more then willing to clean the caps off and send additional pictures to show that there is no rust or corrosion that would have caused them to break if the Revdex.com would like me to do so.  My vehicle went into their establishment with 4 in tact center caps.  It came out with all 4 being damaged and only two barely being able to be reinstalled.  I do understand that mistakes, accidents and shortcuts happen.  When they do, the business needs to take ownership of the mistake and take care of their customers.  Clearly, it was not my fault that they broke and I should not have to pay the extra money for the damage that their technician(s) caused.  I took my vehicle there in good faith that it would be returned back to me in the same condition.  As a consumer, I need to feel confident that whether the damage was $5 or $500 that they can be trusted with my valued property to do everything possible to make things right.  I still believe that reimbursement for the damaged parts is a reasonable resolution.  If they are able to get the parts cheaper then the dealership, then by all means do so, but it should not be at my cost.  Thank you again for your time with handling this matter.Regards,[redacted]

The customer's first statement to you that it was late in the evening and we insisted that we would get it done in plenty of time is not true. [redacted] had already bought and paid for his tires at 2:47 pm.His second statement rings of a falsehood also. He said, "They hurried and got the tires on."...

We have installed 2,000,000 tires since we opened and yes we are pretty good, but we do not hurry, Every nut on every wheel was actually touched by 3 people. One tightened with a power wrench and then 2 others tightened by hand. All 3 signed and a 4th signed for proper air. Any problems with hubcaps missing or not on properly should have been noted by each. It was on properly when it left our shop. However, it is our policy to take care of almost any customer problem no matter who is at fault. They happen so seldom it actually makes us happy to surprise a customer when even he is not sure who is to blame. There is one exception. If a customer is abusive or swears at one of our associates, they are instructed to hang up and not to take future calls and list the customer as "Do not sell.[redacted] is one of 11 people on the list we have been keeping now for 25 years.Sincerely, [redacted]

Snyder Tire uses state of the art tire machines that actually never touch the rim, so we could not of cracked the rim as [redacted] has stated.Obviously, the rim waas already cracked or [redacted]r wouldnot have put fix a flat in his wheel before he came to our store.  I would recommend that he...

turn the cracked rim into his Insurance Company.Thank you.Regards,[redacted]
