So Cal Refinishing

Review: I had bath tub repaired & refinished on Sept 5, 2013 by Whiterock Refinishing, initial experience was great. C[redacted] (owner?) was prompt & assured his work had a lifetime guarantee. Noticed a crack in tub in area it had been repaired and called per warranty assurance. I scheduled time to come and fix it on Dec 6; nobody showed up or called to reschedule. I called Dec 9, he apologized that his guy did not show up. He scheduled for Dec 10 at 3:30 pm. During conversation he shared his son had hospitalized. I asked if all was ok and to please schedule accordingly to take care of family. He assured me everything was fine & would be there to fix the tub, did not show up. Called at 4 pm & again apologized, he completely forgot. He promised to come the next day, Dec 11 at 9 am. I called at 9 am & left a message. At 10:00 am, called & asked if everything was ok being sensitive to his family situation. C[redacted] indicated all was fine; in Simi Valley doing a job & come by around 1 pm. Called at 3:30 pm, he indicated almost done and would head over to take care of the repair as soon as he was done. Today, Dec 12, called C[redacted], no show yesterday or called, this time his tone abrupt. He indicated in my area all day on Dec 13. As I was about to ask to keep his commitment, he cut me off with these words, Ive got too much going on and dont have to take anybodys st, good bye. Click, he hung up.Very disappointing to get spoken to with little regard to the number of now shows, my time taken from work for appointments. Sadden to see C[redacted]s friendly demeanor & professionalism disappear to avoid keeping the lifetime warranty so proudly sated, on website, & receipt.Whiterock warranty means it is on their terms & timing. Actions shout out, warranty commitment is not a priority - no $s! And, dont call him on his lack of humble professionalism with no shows or calls.Desired Settlement: False advertisement of lifetime warranty - return my money so I can get the work redone by another vendor as this work need to be done immediately due to possible water damage.Also, REMOVE the lifetime warranty statement from receipts & website.
