The customer [redacted] visted our Oceanside location on 8/19/at about 450PMWhen going through the tunnel, they blowers blew the side view mirror offAfter further investigation the claim was denied due to prior damage on the mirror (pre-existing crack on passanger side view mirror) prior to the Ms [redacted] entering the tunnel and the age of the vehicle (Volkswagon Beetle)Per our liability poster, our car wash is not responsible for loose equipment, trim, molding, emblems, wheel covers, center caps, or mirrors that come off upon contact with the equipment nor any vehicles older than yearsSoapy Joe's has a liability poster posted at every Soapy Joe's locations for customers to view prior to entering the tunnelI have attached the customers incident report and image of the vehicle prior to entering the tunnel which shows previous damage that did not occur in our car wash tunnel [redacted] Customer Service Support Manager Soapy Joe’s, Inc [redacted] xoffice [redacted] faxa [redacted] @soapyjoescw.comsoapyjoescarwash.com

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This is entirely falseThere was no previous crackThe blowers blew off the mirror AND cracked the housingThey never said this to meI pointed it out to the employee who took the incident report.Their response to me was that their policy didn't cover mirrors and even if it did, they don't cover anything on cars over years oldThey said it was posted at the entrance to the car wash but, at that point, there are many cars behind you waiting to get in and the attendant is asking you dozens of questions so even if it really is posted, there's no time to read it and you can't get out of line without going through the wash anyway.Customers don't expect their machinery to damage their car or they wouldn't go to the car wash in the first place Regards, [redacted]
