Sent money to SOBBS in exchange of a cooling device in honor of my stillborn son, never received device or promised refund
Sent money to SOBBS via Paypal on Aug. 7, 2018 for a cooling device to be placed at a hospital in memory of my stillborn son. The device was promised to be shipped on multiple occasions; Oct 17, 2018 via UPS/FEDex which never happened, then promised it would be hand delivered the 2nd weekend of November by the organization's founder in a Ryder truck. She was a no show, but again promised to ship it it Nov 14. On Dec. 4 the charity posted a Facebook post saying to email all refund requests and refunds would be processed within the next 25 days, prior to the 2018 year end. Needless to say, I have not received a refund nor the device and cannot get the organization to contact me with information.

We ordered a caring cradle after raising enough for this device. We ordered this device to be donated to our local hospital where we lost our son. We have been waiting for this device since August. SOBBS won't respond to my inquiries or call back. I finally messaged everyone who works at SOBBS via *** and *** to find out what happened to our $5k and finally the founder, lori texted saying the device had a problem and they were refunding everyone .It's been 2 weeks since she said that and no refund has been given. My husbands company paid half of that money and are also requesting the status of the refund so we can purchase a different device through a different company. Lori again will not rrspomr to calls or texts or emails. She completely disappeared with our money!
