Complaint ID #: [redacted] Customer was informed that he would not be obligated to pay for the remaining balance on the account to which he responded with a gracious 'thank you"

I was told the electronic device I was using was paid in full via the rental rate The rep told me over the phone (and they have this recorded) I would no longer be charged I was then charged $two days later for the remaining purchase price I spoke with [redacted] at [redacted] who said I either needed to revert to the rental price or stick with the payment I made (which I had no idea was being directly debited from my bank account) I believe the fact that the initial rep made the point to me that I had no more to pay that I should have to pay neither the rental price of the unit or the purchase price I told them I'd stick with the purchase price that they billed me but I did not think that was right [redacted] replied with: ***, Thank you for the feedback, it is sincerely appreciated [redacted] | Director of Sales Operations [redacted] | O [redacted] | C [redacted] They're not honoring the commitment made by their rep over the phone

Mrs***We apologize for your confusion around our Minimum Term Contract which gave you a $discount on the price of our Device when you use our service for a minimum of 120days. The minimum term which had to be completed was 120days from the start date. Therefore, the minimum
term ended on December 20, 2017, but testing on the Soberlink Device continued with the last recorded test being on January 20, 2018. Our policy states that terminating service needs to happen in writing (send an email to [email protected]) which is clearly stated in our contract. We understand that our service was not used in the month of February and have credited you the entire February balance. In addition, we have not sent you to collections and you currently have a balance of zero dollars. We hope that this helps clarify the situation and please feel free to reach out at any time if you have further questionsBest,Soberlink

I spoke to a representative at this company in early July on a product I use from them every other weekThe Representative told me my bill would be $for the month of July and withdrew $out of my bank account which overdrew my account I spoke with “***” claiming to be a manager of this company and offered NO resolution to fix this

/ Positive test, no calibration dates ever available for court ordered usage This device needs to be replaced with better, more technical information SHALL BE available to the customers who are court ordered to use this product

I signed a contract for months, which ended January 20, My contract reads: "The Term shall continue in full force and effect for a period of One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive days or until terminated." In February, the credit card I had used for paying expiredSober link attempted to bill my expired credit card after the 120-day contract expiredThey then contacted me to get a paymentI informed them my contract had expired, and asked to be credited for the whole month of February, and the days of JanuaryThey refused and said not only would they not credit me, they were also going to send me to a collection agency for refusal to pay the fees, and that I could not talk to anyone on the phone about the incident or to try to resolve the issue

I was sent three separate invoices, one for $4, another that said paid in full and finally one for $They also charged me additional $dollars due to a change in monitoring fee, which they claim came from the program I was enrolled in and didn'tI've contacted the Soberlink several times and they've not been helpfulI feel they use deception and have hidden costs that they are not upfront onI also don't know what to believe and feel they have a real lack of communication with consumers
