Be careful and do your research before you decide to give these crooks your money. They cut corners with their supplies and paints hoping the homeowners wouldn't notice, happened to me, do not work with this company, and their so called owner david sobrinski is a joke, very condescending.

Sobrinski Painting has moved forward with the work detailed in the contract.  Some of this work has already been completed and the remainder is scheduled to be finished this week.

Review: I recently had 2 separate bathrooms remodeled which included the installation of two new exhaust fans. During the installation, the roof vent pipe/flange was displqaced and required that the roof shingles be reseated and sealed around the roof vent flange. Initially, we informed the contractor ( Sobrinski) of loose roof shingles and an employee did attempt to re-seat/reseal these shingles around the roof flange. This initial correction was done shortly after the initial remodeling. Within the last few weeks, we took note that the ceilings in both bathrooms have paint peeling which is a sign of water leakage. I contacted Sobrinski with the expectation that the water leakage would be corrected. Both ** Sobrinski Sr. and **. Sobrinski Jr. confirmed that a water leakage was occurring around the roof vent flange, which they had modified/displaced during the initial construction. Shortly afterwards, I received in the mail an estimation of costs to repair the damage which they had initially caused by their poor workmanship. Their estimate did not even include the removal of the fungus/mold on the "new" drywall ceiling or the fiberglass insulation. Today, my phone call with **. Sobrinski Jr. indicated that he has no intention of correcting the damage caused by his poor workmanship. His retort to my question of repair was: so "sue me". That option may be used in the near futureDesired Settlement: either repair the leaking roof vent flange by installation of a new flange; remove the damaged fiberglass insulation, treat all areas for fungus/mildew, replace damaged drywall and repaint the ceiling at no cost to me OR issue a refund check for $5000.00 dollars to me for damages

The leak is occuring where the plumbing vent is located (the flange/gasket is detoriated and compromised).

Sobrinski was contracted to install the exhaust fan and there is no leak coming from it.

Sobrinski was not contracted to replace the plumbing vent roof flange. (that is where the leak is coming from)

Sobrinski proposed to fix the flange and water damage for the sum of $850.00

[redacted] refused to pay for the repair and threatened legal action.

Sobrinski agreed to make the repair free of charge. (Sobrinski does not believe that it needed to do the work for free.)

[redacted] was told by Sobrinski that the repair was to be taken care free of charge.

[redacted] refused Sobrinski's offer.

I am rejecting this response because: **. Sobrinski refused to accept ANY responsibility and DID NOT make ANY offer to repair the damage for Free of charge. As a result, I secured another party to repair the damage caused by his poor workmanship. Hence, I am asking for monetary damages.
