Social Book

Review: I believe that Social book misrepresented themselves. I was told no more contacts would be made to me regarding any services/products. I have received additional phone calls from a company of a different name, but is actually social book. There have been duplicate services and I believe overcharged. Products that social book offered me were never delivered. For instance, I agreed to "pay" for a book and ended up paying for a [redacted] account, web page etc that I do not want and did not know would be included. I was told that SB would not contact me any further when my last transaction was done. I have received calls from spotlite radio, zircon(?) which are another name for social book. I believe this whole thing is a scam--I figured it out too late.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for services I did not ask for, but ended up paying for. I have paid for some services with credit card, check, authorized check on their end (which I stopped) and still had them make a check against my account. They also expect large payments at a time, upwards of $1000. I have stopped some of the checks at the bank when my account could not cover the charge (checks generated on their end). They have not been willing to negotiate a lower price or installment payments.

Review: Social Book/Spotlite Radio offered a 1/2 hour interview. Pressed for me to make the decision, even after I expressed the need to advise the business owner. Put on my Personal Credit Card the charge. I notified business owner, and he stated that he did NOT want to do the 1/2 hour interview. Called Spotlite Radio, discussed the situation with [redacted] which stated that his program director would have to help get the refund. Spoke with [redacted], promised to give refund in 5 business days. That discussion took place on July **, 2013. STILL waiting for the refund. Called numerous times to [redacted], the person who does the refund transactions, which she stated that the refund was already processed. That was August*, 2013. Spoke with my Credit Card company, THEY called Spotlite Radio. [redacted] was "in a meeting" so left message for her to call me back. Left 3 more messages for her to call me back. STILL NO CALL BACK. Sent them a letter to tell them that I am disputing the charge with my Credit Card company on 8-**-13. August **, [redacted] called to ask if we were having a problem with the interview and I again explained to him that we STILL HAVE NOT received our refund. He was trying to convince me AGAIN to do the 1/2 hour interview, even when HE KNEW we were not interested and we are pursuing our REFUND. If this company does not DO WHAT THEY PROMISED, why would we EVER consider doing any business with them? We are still waiting for our Credit Card company to do their investigation in this to get the refund back into my account. I don't care about their policy of 15% processing fee for "lost revenue". What about THEIR policy of "Doing what THEY promise?" They promised a refund in 5 business days, yet, they won't do that, they won't call me back, they are making ME fight for my money thorough my Credit Card company. So TOO BAD about THEIR 15% processing fee. They lost that after me NOT RECEIVING MY REFUND on DAY 6. (They promised within 5 business days I would receive my refund less the 15%) Now it has been 30 days since that promise. I want my ENTIRE amount refunded.

Review: I signed a contract with Spotlite Radio on December **, 2013 to have three radio interviews which also included "** (3) Spotlite Radio Shows to be aired on [redacted] as the live link and then archieved onto [redacted] ( [redacted] Includes Youtube Optimization [redacted] )** January [redacted], 2014 at 11 am EST [redacted] Major Press Release** CD-ROM** Distinguished Custom Plaque"I had the three interview on January **, February * and February **. However, Spotlite Radio did not honor the contract and do a press release, have not provided the CD, have not released the interviews on YouTube (optimized) and have not provided the plaque. I have contacted them multiple times (at least 7 to 10) and I get a stall tactic. I have the contract that is consumated by Spotlite Radio and MAE Consulting that I can provide to Revdex.com. The charge, which has been paid in full, was $1500. It seems to me they clearly have no intent on fulfilling the contract.Desired Settlement: I would like Spotlite Radio to honor the contract and do the following immediately:[redacted] Youtube Optimization [redacted] Major Press Release** CD-ROM** Distinguished Custom Plaque"I would like Spotlite Radio to contact me to tell me they have completed the contract so I do not have to call them and ask them to honor their contract. I am a small business and this was a lot of money to give a company that is not honorable.
