[redacted] Hard Copy Attached *** I dispute all of the allegations in the Customer's Statement of the Problem as reported to the Revdex.com on 9/27/Upon the Customer's move out, damage in the form of peeling and cupping edges on the wood laminate floor was noted and photographed in multiple locations in the unit including the kitchen and living areasThe fact that we did not have a Move In form from the Customer made it impossible for us to verify when this damage occurredThe Moform is given to every resident when they take occupancy of the apartment as part of standard operating procedureIt is not uncommon that residents do not fill them out or return them to the office as is their responsibilityUpon moving in, all residents are also given a handbook that among other things details how to care for the wood floors, including not to mop them with heavy amounts of waterThe Customer occupied this apartment unit for approximately two yearsI do not know how the damage occurred, however the damage to the wood laminate floors was well beyond the wear and tear expected in that timeThe floors were not In a condition to be repaired and needed to be replaced at a cost that exceeded his security deposit by $of which we paid in order to restore this apartment unit to a rentable conditionFurthermore, the allegation that the previous Property Manager was "fired for not doing her job properly" is simply not trueThat employee chose to leave the company to pursue other opportunities in the same industryDue to the damage to the unit and our costs to replace the flooring after the Customer's tenancy, we will not refund his security deposit

This issue has been resolved

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

Ms*** has expressed her concerns to our property manager on site. We have been treating the pests using a highly reputable pest control provider, with which we have a contract for service. We continue to be responsive to our resident's concerns. We have relied on the
representations of our pest control experts that the issue is minor and that treatment will be successful. We have subsequently re-treated the unit and upon reinspection by the pest control company it was reported that no issue was present any longer

[redacted] Hard Copy Attached [redacted] I dispute all of the allegations in the Customer's Statement of the Problem as reported to the Revdex.com on 9/27/2016. in the unit including the kitchen and living areas. The fact that we did not have a Move In form from the Customer made it impossible for us to verify when this damage occurred. The Move-In form is given to every resident when they take occupancy of the apartment as part of standard operating procedure. It is not uncommon that residents do not fill them out or return them to the office as is their responsibility. Upon moving in, all residents are also given a handbook that among other things details how to care for the wood floors, including not to mop them with heavy amounts of water. The Customer occupied this apartment unit for approximately two years. I do not know how the damage occurred, however the damage to the wood laminate floors was well beyond the normal wear and tear expected in that time. The floors were not In a condition to be repaired and needed to be replaced at a cost that exceeded his security deposit by $565.50 of which we paid in order to restore this apartment unit to a rentable condition. Furthermore, the allegation that the previous Property Manager was "fired for not doing her job properly" is simply not true. That employee chose to leave the company to pursue other opportunities in the same industry. Due to the damage to the unit and our costs to replace the flooring after the Customer's tenancy, we will not refund his security deposit.
