Review: I bought a Groupon for my fiance for 3 tattoo removal sessions for an area up to four square inches. On our first visit the tech agreed to do both of his very small finger tattoos (total surface area of both tattoos combined is less than a quarter) however, they typically charge for each tattoo. The owner who performed the 2nd and 3rd session, informed us of this policy during the last two sessions, however, since it had been started by a previous employee doing both tattoos she agreed to keep going. After the 3rd session was complete, the owner offered to sell us another 3 sessions for $200 (which we paid before leaving the office at end of 3rd session on 10/2/2014) she agreed to treat both tattoos as one in the next 3 sessions. She informed us he would need possibly 9 more sessions to complete removal. We felt this was a good deal and agreed to keep our business with her. We went on 1/30/2015 for his first visit of the next three sessions; as soon as my fiance walked in the door she informed us that we had yet to pay for the sessions. We explained that we already paid for the sessions on our last visit, that she was the one personally to do his last two sessions and she sold us 3 more. She denied this, stating that the $200 I paid then was additional payment for the Groupon, as they do not do two tattoos under one session. This is not what we had agreed upon, this is not what she "sold" us on our last session there. I would absolutely not have paid an additional $200 for services that had already been paid for and rendered. Logically, it doesn't make sense that she wouldn't have addressed this in the second session requiring further payment before going forward. Her story does not make sense because it is untrue. We feel lied to, stolen from, and conned.Desired Settlement: I paid for the services rendered under the Groupon. I then paid for 3 additional sessions, she did not fulfill the agreement. I request a refund for $200.

Review: I received 9 laser hair removal treatments from Softouch. I now have full hair growth in the treated area due to the actions of Softouch. In the beginning of my treatments, I was informed that I needed to come every 4-6 weeks. However, I was later informed by [redacted] (who has since been fired for stealing money from the company) that it did not matter how long I waited between treatments. [redacted] informed me that once a hair follicle was damaged, it was damaged forever. She said it did not matter if I waited 6 weeks or two years between treatments. Because of these words, I scheduled my appointments with no regards to time. I have spoken with the owner, [redacted], about this and she claims that [redacted] probably did lie to me. [redacted] told me (during my 7th laser hair treatment, which was performed by [redacted]) that [redacted] was stealing from the company by stealing all the cash. I was paying in cash. Therefore, [redacted] probably told me lies so that she could keep receiving my money. [redacted] has since been fired. I called [redacted] on Aug. 23rd 2013 to discuss the matter. She said that she has heard about [redacted] lying to customers about many issues. But because she hasn't heard of [redacted] lying specifically about the 4-6 week rule, she doesn't want to refund me. When I told [redacted] about the fact that all of my hair is still present, she assured me that it is because I did not come every 6 weeks. This is because I was misinformed by one of her employees.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the $480 I spent on 9 laser hair treatments. I spent $150 on the first three treatments, $180 on the second three, and $150 on the last three. The treatments did not work because [redacted] was not properly monitoring the lies her employee [redacted] was telling her customers.
