Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments belowI understand this is Secure Software's policy and the rejection of my proctor for rebate is not what is in dispute, as detailed in my initial complaint My issue is that my proctor was returned to the company in April and on May 4th, I received an email stating my proctor was not accepted and it could be returned to me I have sent multiple emails to the company requesting the return of my proctor without any response I do not want a rebate, I just want MY proctor, not a replacement, returned as offered in the email from Software Secure Additionally, there is a hit of scam within the correspondence with this company I was offered $for my proctor by Software Secure at the submission of my paperwork for the buyback program The date of purchase was required on this application, so this offer of $was given with knowledge of my date of purchase My proctor was mailed to Software Secure, deemed damaged by the company - though it was in perfect working condition and returned in its' original box - and I never heard back from them This company already has an F rating by Revdex.com, sadly they seem to be continuing on this trajectoryRegards, [redacted] -carva

Software Secure did previously offer a general Buybackprogram for students that purchased a Remote Proctor deviceOnce a studentenrolled in the general program, an assessment would be made as to whether thatparticular device/student was eligible for a Buyback, as the finaldetermination was dictated
by both the quality of the device, as well as anyparticular agreement with the school’s institutionPursuant to our agreementwith Frontier University, (the institution at which this particular student wasenrolled when using Remote Proctor) Buybacks were only automatically granted tothose students who purchased devices prior to December 31, It istrue that in the past, some students that purchased devices after December 31,were provided Buyback eligibility, but that was a result of a clericaloversightAs of May 05, 2015, the Buyback program was discontinued for allstudents

Per our correspondence with [redacted], we have resolved the matter by honoring her original request to return her proctoring device back to her. The device was delivered 05/27/2015, as confirmed by the student- to her satisfaction.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below. I understand this is Secure Software's policy and the rejection of my proctor for rebate is not what is in dispute, as detailed in my initial complaint.  My issue is that my proctor was returned to the company in April and on May 4th, I received an email stating my proctor was not accepted and it could be returned to me.  I have sent multiple emails to the company requesting the return of my proctor without any response.  I do not want a rebate, I just want MY proctor, not a replacement, returned as offered in the email from Software Secure.  Additionally, there is a hit of scam within the correspondence with this company.  I was offered $75 for my proctor by Software Secure at the submission of my paperwork for the buyback program.  The date of purchase was required on this application, so this offer of $75 was given with knowledge of my date of purchase.  My proctor was mailed to Software Secure, deemed damaged by the company - though it was in perfect working condition and returned in its' original box - and I never heard back from them.  This company already has an F rating by Revdex.com, sadly they seem to be continuing on this trajectory. Regards,

choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. The Revdex.com is a great asset for consumers. Having attempted to contact the business for three weeks straight and getting no response, I reached out to the Revdex.com and a response was received from the company within 24 hours. Still unfortunate that it sometimes requires involving a third party, to get a response on a $15 refund.
