SoftwareMedia sold me software, Adobe Photoshop CS6 to be exact. Adobe tells me this software is not genuine. Pete D from SofwareMedia claims that it is genuine. Adobe no longer allows me to use the software I paid SotwareMedia for as it is not genuine. SO, SoftwareMedia took my money and I no longer have what I bought. This is not right. My desired outcome is for me to have the software I already paid for, if that is not possible, I want my money back. I bought something, a physical thing. I want my money back.
This product is about 10 years old and can only be installed and activated one time. I do not know why adobe would say its not genuine however being so old and the fact it can only be licensed one time one on one computer perhaps that is their boiler plate response. We used to be authorized Adobe partners however that was 5 years ago and we cant be held accountable for adobe not allowing someone to reinstall the software. They are wanting people to move to the creative cloud subscription model.
If you provide us with your serial number we can try to contact adobe on your behalf to more accurately explain the scenario and perhaps we can get to allow a new install.
The product is so old they might also have discontinued product support all together on this version.

Hi I wanted to respond to this.The businesses response is not truthful. My product was only purchased 5 years ago, not 10 as they stated. Unless they were selling old product. Their answer, is really not an answer.

I contacted softwaremedia.com through their chat system inquiring about a Windows 10 Home upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. While it was not economically feasible for me to use their services, the chat agent was very knowledgeable, patient, and answered all my questions and pointed me in the right direction. If I had a need for the type of service and/or product with which they provide, I would return in a second! Felt like I was dealing with an honest company that valued their integrity and customer service above all else.
