in the industry. Due to that fact we cannot carry accounts with low equity and no activity for years. We sent you two notices that a $50 fee would be charged. One in Aug 2015 and one in Sept 2015. We wanted you to fund to the minimum $100 or you could have closed your account and all funds would be released prior to the Low Equity Charge. We did not hear from you, charged the fee and with your account in negative equity were forced to close your account.
There is a way to receive your $32.91 funds. If you wish to reopen your account with a deposit of $100 (minimum stated in the notices) we can reverse the fee and your account would have $131.01. You could choose to do anything including closing your account and receive $131.91.

I do not accept this response since these so called notices never made its way to me, otherwise I would have acted promptly. I do not want to open another account and put in $100 equity as my current employer prohibits opening brokerage accounts, period. I will look for full 82.91 refund check issued to my home address [redacted] Edison, NJ XXXXX)

Review: Unable to close account after repeated attempts. Have been charged several fee's over the last year, last month sent check to zero account and have it closed. They have now added new fee without any explanation of the charge, looked for transaction on site and mentioned this in last email to customer service. Apparently they do not want to resolve this issue and I do not want to keep playing this game with them as it has cost me over $100 so far.Desired Settlement: Current fee for Jan. 2016 - For whatever reason they can't explain what is for removed. And account closed.
