Eye exam and prescription eye glasses. I am not able to see well with the new glasses.Visited the location for the first time for an eye exam on 6/11/2015. I paid a total of 344 charged to my [redacted] credit card.00 The glasses arrived approximately 10 days later with progressive lenses which did not work for me. they asked me to wear the glasses for at least week to see if I would get used to them, but that did not happened and the optician refused to refund the money I paid for that feature. Around June 25th, I returned the glasses and requested for the 'flat top' bifocal to be put back into the them. I picked the glasses on/about 7/6/2015, at the time the bifocal line was extremely large and I was unable to see properly. Also at that time I realized that was not able to work on my computer. I had to get really close (approx. 8-10 inches away) from my computer in order to see clearly. I went back to the eye doctor and explained to them what was going on. At that time, the optician stated that if he fixed it one more time I would have to live with whatever the results. At the time the Dr. himself got involved because the optician became very loud and very impolite to the point that I had to raise my voice as well. They did fixed the size of the bifocal area but the issue of me not being able to see clearly at my work station was still pending. I finally asked for them to put my prescription back that what is was before I got the new glasses since I was (and still am) able to see better with my old prescription glasses. The doctor asked for them to examine my both glasses again to make sure that they would have the same strength. Approximately 10 days ago (8/24 or 8/25) I got the new glasses back. According to the doctor they were exactly the same as the old ones. However, I still can not see clearly and had to wear my old glasses to work at my workstation. I called the doctor's office last week and doctor asked for me to stop by again for a final check because I told him I will get a second opinion. I went back to the office yesterday and he assured me that both glasses had the same prescription strength. I then took the glasses to a different eye center and at the new location they found a discrepancy of approximately .25 on the near vision portion of the glasses. I left the paperwork, unfortunately, I hand written note since I did not paid for a new eye exam, just for the measurement of my glasses. I spoke with the doctor over the phone today (9/1/2015) and he stated that he would reverse everything back, but he does not guarantee that would work and that I would have to leave with the results. I told him that my only request/wish is for me to being able to see clearly at my work station. He stated that he cannot reverse time and that my eyes are aging and there is nothing he can do about. However, I thought that was what the glasses did. After several attempts and after paying a total of $334, I still can't work. I have taken off from work and stopped by the doctor office in numerous occasion and my problem is yet to be resolved./////Desired SettlementI would like to get the money refunded to me so I could visit a different eye doctor and get different lenses to resolve the matter./////
