The bearing that held the fan blade to the unit wore out and needed to be replacedOur home warranty company sent these *** outFirst, they did not take anything apart to look at itThey didn't use any tools at all and in fact stuck a *** steak knife through the top of our unit! Then they told me after two minutes of "checking" that "something has been stuck into the unit and damaged the bladethe warranty won't cover it." I then received a convoluted ** explanation on the fan blade being "bent" and "shiny marks" They did zero work and still expected to collect the service feeWhich they did notWe called the warranty company again and had them send out a different vendorThis man had actual tools that he used to take apart the unit and actually touch the blade! His diagnosis? The bolt wore out and the blade came loose and needed to be replaced oh and it was covered by our warrantyHe fixed it in under an hour and that was with the drive time it took him to go and get the partThese scam artists wanted to charge me to replace a dollar fan blade!! Awful and rude liars! please spend your money at a reputable company and not on these *** that are clearly trying to run a scam

Tech Travis showed up with no ladder and no tools (he borrowed my ladder) and only had an invoice ready to collect feesHe lied saying he would tell the warranty company that I needed a new duct because it simply collapsedInstead he told them someone walked on my ductI just purchased the house this December and didn't know the condition of the duct because I am too old to climb in the atticBut why lieI would have commissioned the company for the work had the tech been honestIf Tech Travis is dishonest you can bet the company is tooI will not do business with dishonest companies and you shouldn't either
