Solar Energy Management did a fantastic job with my solar installationVery good price and extremely knowledgeable and efficient installation crewThese guys were just amazingThey were doing an upgrade to an existing system, adding panels and changing out to a larger inverterThey spent time cleaning up sloppy work from the previous contractor and replaced inferior components as wellI would definitely recommend them based on my experienceIf I end up adding a backup generator or battery system I will be calling them
My solar system was installed on by the end of April 2017; but not activated by Duke until June 6,The first few months I was still receiving my electricity bill with a significant reduction in $$ but still it aggravated me because I was told by the sales representative I was going to pay $I had a few Phone calls and all my questions we answered immediatelyI even sent emails out and their representative got in contact with me with no delaysI have no complaint about their customer service at allIt's being almost a year with the system and all I'm paying on my electricity bill with duke is the taxes and fees which are note more than $Overall as up to today I'm very pleased with them
On March I signed a agreement with Mr Wayne L*** the owner of owner of Solar Sales United Network to have equipment installed on my home
My complaint is that Mr L*** failed to install the The Hybrid water heater tank at my homeHe completed the solar panels, attic foam, and the nest ThermostatAfter multiple promises made to install the Hybrid water heater nothing was donePromises were made by text messages on my cell phone but I could never get verbal confirmation from Mr L***
We interviewed a total of solar companies before deciding to go with SEM PowerThey didn't try and sell us a new pool pump, or hot water heater (of the companies we interviewed, did try that) The other reason we chose them, was the fact that we have a whole house generator, and it needed to be integrated with the solarThe company that installed the generator, also recommended SEM PowerThere was no pressure from Chris R(the sales associate) who was very knowledgeable about solar, and all of their product offerings (he even drives a TESLA!) The installers did an awesome job! They installed all LG Panels and the inverters in only daysWe've had our system for months now, and it's been greatWe got our 1st bill from TECO, and it's been reduced by 70%! (which is exactly what SEM promised) I called them the day before hurricane Irma, about what measures we should take to protect our system, and Chris got back to me within minutes! Many companies were closed, and people had been evacuated, but these guys came through againIf you want a good quality product, and people that are friendly and reliable, then this is the company you should go with
Failure to honor contract, failure to deliver promised work in a timely manner, failure to communicate
On October 8th, 2017, I executed a $36,contract for a grid-tied kW solar electric system with SEM Power for my homestead in Miami I promptly sent them my deposit of $7,with expectations they would promptly develop my engineering drawings and submit to the city of Miami for permitting To assist, I also provided all the existing architectural drawings and significant other documentation to aid them Once the plans are submitted, I understand and expect a day plus wait for the City of Miami permitting, but the plans have not even been started to date I have lost faith in SEM Powers capability to honor the terms of their contract
As of today, January 27, days post contract execution, no plans have been develop (nor started as far as I can tell) I have called and emailed numerous times to request an expected delivery date to no avail
