Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
Putting aside for now a point-by-point clarification to the misinformation stated in the business response, the facts and basis for this complaint remain the same:
I requested permanent hair color and Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness applied color to my hair pieces that rinsed out after one wash
After I contacted Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness about the color rinsing out after one wash, Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness made no offer or attempt to correct the issue
I tried to correspond with Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness about the issue in hopes they would right their wrong, and they refused

Putting aside for now a point-by-point clarification to the misinformation stated in the business response, the facts and basis for this complaint remain the same:
Issue: Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness did not inform me that the hair coloring was temporary (and would wash out after a single wash).
Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness made no offer to remedy the issue once I presented it to them.
Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness would not provide a refund (full or partial) for the issue.
Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness publicly disclosed my health condition on [redacted] and their [redacted] page (which as I understand it is a [redacted]) in response to a review I posted (they later edited their response to remove my personal medical details, and then later deleted my [redacted] review and their response).
I tried to correspond with Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness about the issue in hopes they would right their wrong, and they refused.

Mrs. [redacted] contacted
Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness March 16, 2015 (see attached email) wanting
color and cutting services on wigs, she had purchased elsewhere, because she
had never liked the color. We met with Mrs. [redacted] for the first time on April
2, 2015 for a very lengthy consultation on the hair color she desired and other
products and services we offer.  During
this consultation both Kristen K[redacted] and Ricky Knowles informed Mrs. [redacted]
that Ricky Knowles Hair and Wellness would be more than happy to do the color
work but could not and would not guarantee the outcome of the services because
she purchased her wigs elsewhere and there was no way for us to know what type
of hair we would be working with. Mrs. [redacted] was also informed that the hair
would fade every time she shampooed the wig and would have to color the wig
again.
 Mrs. [redacted] allowed us to
do a strand test and approved the results to have us move forward with the
color service. After completion of the first color service Mrs. [redacted]
purchased $87 in wet goods, three of which are produced and manufactured by one
of the largest human hair wig manufacturers in the world, and tipped our hair
stylist $35. The total charge for that day was $289.18, Mrs. [redacted] paid with
her [redacted] and left very happy.
Mrs. [redacted] returned on April 4, 2015 for us to do a color
service on the second wig. Again we began with a strand test to ensure the
proper color.  We did the color service
on the second wig and it came out great. Upon picking up her wig Mrs. [redacted]
Purchased several head coverings for $56 and tipped the hair stylist $35, again
she paid $160 for the color service and left very happy with the way the color
turned out. The total paid was $251 on that trip.
Mrs. [redacted] contacted us on May 6, 2015 to inform us that the
wigs had faded after one shampoo. She goes on to again commend us on the
"wonderful service" we provide while questioning the professional
color we use. (See attached email) I replied to Mrs. [redacted] apologizing for
her displeasure and explaining to her the reason her wigs faded. (Attached are
copies of all email correspondence between Mrs. [redacted] and Ricky Knowles Hair
and Wellness.)
Mrs. [redacted] has also questioned our experience and ability to
work with wigs for people with [redacted], [redacted] and other hair loss issues. We
have over 20 years experience working with wigs and hair pieces; I personally
have over 16 years working specifically with wigs and over 19 years working as
a cosmetologist. I have extensive continuing education training and am the lead
educator for the largest human hair wig manufacturer in the world. I have
personally trained hair stylists how to color wigs in the [redacted], [redacted],
[redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] just to name a
few places.  I am also a research and
development consultant for the   same
manufacture and have spent extensive time in the factories where the wigs and
pieces are made.  Furthermore, the color
line we choose to use is [redacted] Hair Color, a highly rated hair color
designed to help repair damaged hair.
Mrs. [redacted] contacted [redacted] to do a charge back for the services
and tips which do not total $540.18. (See attached receipts) she only was
requesting a refund for services.  After
receiving the same information you are receiving, [redacted] ruled in our favor
denying Mrs. [redacted] of the charge back (see attached denial). Since the denial,
Mrs. [redacted] has taken to social media over two months after the services were
received, posting negative comments and making false claims. In fact after
almost six years in business, we have received our first negative comment on
social media compared to the numerous positive comments we've received over the
past six years.
Mrs. [redacted] purchased two
wigs from somewhere other than Ricky Knowles Hair and wellness. Although she
was charged a large sum of money for her wigs she received very over processed
inexpensive hair. Mrs. [redacted] solicited us to fix the color problem she had
with her wigs, we explained the risk and explained our policy of no guarantees.
We even went as far as giving her a discounted price on the color services.
 As for the pictures Mrs.
[redacted] attached, the darker wig she admittedly colored herself and it is at
least two to three shades darker than the color we did for her on two of her
wigs, that she tipped $35 each for. The color formula we used on Mrs. [redacted]'s
wig was 8G+7G deposit only hair color with conditioners. The picture of the
darker on is at least a level 5 which is approximately 2 shades darker. That is
not the color she asked for from us and it was not the color of the wigs when
she left.

Revdex.com Complaint Response: ID [redacted]The complainant's recent response listed three issues of contention. Our responses will address those issues in the same order. The claim on being in [redacted] we are a hair salon and not bound by HIPPA.1. We are in the hair loss ([redacted]) industry per [redacted]. We have amassed years of training, expertise and display multiple walls of certificates. When a client purchase a wig from us we advise them on the service that is available to them which includes: re-fitting, washing, styling, trimming, and coloring. The hair color industry is a 7 billion dollar a year industry. Whether it's real hair or a wig, hair color fades. Sunlight oxidation, washing and hair products all contribute to the loss of hair color. However, they will not wash out after one washing. We use [redacted] hair color which is some of the best products on the market today and have had absolutely no complaints of hair coloring washing out after one wash. We use these same products on actual staff members; 4 with real hair and 2 with wigs none have had color wash out with one washing. We have serviced several wigs, hair-pieces with this color and never had a complaint of color washing out. The complainant brought three wigs to us for service. Two were able to hold the color and the third would not take the color at all. The client only paid for the two that she was pleased with. These two wigs were colored on April 2, 2015 and on April 4, 2015. Over a month later the complainant contacted us stating the color washed out. We have no idea what transpired during that month of washing, use of products, exposure to air, sunlight, etc. we only had her word for it. 2. Although we were surprised at this occurrence we stand behind our work...We asked her to bring them in for us to look at so we could try to resolve her issue. Since she did not purchase her wigs from us initially we did not know the exact quality and make-up of the actual hair, but it was our first step in trying to resolve her concern. The complainant refused to come back to our office with the two wigs. We had no opportunity to assess and/or assist in her concerns before she started her slander on various social media outlets. She even went as far as advising us that she purchased a commercial hair dye from a drug store and dyed the wigs herself. This would negate any chance for us to validate or correct any issue she brought up regarding our service but rather filed a false complaint with the Revdex.com that we never offered a remedy. To this day we have not seen the two wigs that she claims "washed out" since she picked them up on April 4, 2015.3. The complainant refers to a refund (full or partial) which she feels is justified. When you look at the dollar amount she is requesting [redacted] to recoup includes:      1. The cost of coloring the two wigs     2. The tips she gave to the stylist     3. The hair care products she purchased and has kept in her possession     4. The head coverings (scarf) she purchased and has kept in her possessionBetween keeping the products and never allowing us to validate her claim and then starting a slander campaign on multiple media outlets, we don't feel obligated to even consider her remarks.
