We are in receipt ofthe complaint dated August 16th, regarding our customer [redacted] Solar Liberty has taken immediate steps to rectify the situationThe day we became aware of Mr[redacted] 's concern, our Vice President contacted Mr [redacted] to review his issueThey reviewed thedetails of Mr [redacted] 's concerns, discussed what could have been done differently, and ideas how ourorganization will improve through this experience.Regarding the installation date, we explained to Mr [redacted] that permitting was taking a much longerperiod of time in Albany than what was anticipatedOur Project Manager was in continual contact withMr [redacted] , but we did not meet the installation date expected.As far as the roof shingles cracking, our workers immediately ceased installation once they noticed theirbrittle natureWe did not want to force the install on a roof that is in need of repairWe were told theage of the roof had 10-plus years of life leftThat would typically be a fine roof to install uponHowever,since the cracking happened so easily we requested a roofer review the site and derive a cost to upgradearound where the array was to be locatedMr [redacted] stated that would make the project costprohibitive.We take great care when in and around our customer's homeIt was surprising to hear of the damage toMr [redacted] 's garden, but the roof is three stories high and we believe the lift used to get our team tothe roof must have caused the damageWe reviewed the complaint with our team to ensure that doesnot occur in the future unless the customer is fully aware of the need to utilize equipment in a gardenarea.Every company has customer concerns ariseHow a company reacts to those concerns shows how goodan organization really isIt was clear to Mr [redacted] that Solar Liberty took his complaint very seriouslyand wanted to ensure the best end result possible for all parties involved.We are hoping that Mr [redacted] will withdraw his complaint, since we believe we have gone above andbeyond in ensuring that his concerns were rectifiedShould you require any further information, pleasedo not hesitate to contact me at ###-###-####
