I am writing to address an issue I have encountered with the [redacted] ***, Arlington, VA location of Solar Planet On January 13, I purchased a day membership package for $I used days of this packageI returned to the location on January 22, to find out the establishment was permanently closed No communication efforts were made to inform me of this - not when I was paying for a one month membership to a business that would no longer be open come one week later, nor after the closing occurred Because no form of communication was made to me about the closing, I had no number to call, and no name to request to sort the issue outI called another Solar Planet location where I was told I could not be refunded but I could transfer the membership to a different location A location, I explained, that is inconvenientA membership at an inconvenient location is not what I paid for The Solar Planet location that I was in touch with claims to have no contact

Review: I purchased a monthly package of tanning sessions. I went to the Solar Planet at least once a week over the past few weeks. When I showed up this morning (July 11), the store was locked and completely empty--they had closed the shop without refunding me or even informing me!! Insane!! I called a different Solar Planet, and they told me that apparently all of the packages from the [redacted] Solar Planet have been moved to [redacted] Tan--a completely different salon in Rockville. Both of the [redacted] Tans are a 20-25 minute drive from my house. I called [redacted] Tan, and they told me that they have no idea what happened--that they were informed with no notice that all packages from [redacted] are being transferred, and that if I want to cancel, I need to A) drive there in person to cancel and B) I will still have been charged until July 25th, no matter what. So I might as well make the 20-25 minute schlep to tan since I've already paid for it. And that's what I'll do.Desired Settlement: If dreams came true, I would not only get reimbursed for the time and gas that will be wasted in my travels, but I would also get an apology. Shady shady shady.
