Solar Pool Enclosures of New York Inc.

In June of 2011, I purchased a Safety Cover pool enclosure for my property from Solar Pool Enclosures of NY Inc. At first, during the purchasing process, they were very friendly and outgoing willing to answer questions etc - anything to close the sale. Since the installation however, I have had nothing but problems with the quality of the service available from this company and its staff. It has simple been one of the worst experiences I have ever seen from a service company.
Over the years, I have had a number of problems with my pool cover and motor. Last year, I had a problem with the motor and, only because of a misdiagnosis of an issue the year before by the company's service personnel, my motor was out of warranty. I then had to fight for a replacement motor and was told that they could replace it with a new motor but they would not honor the manufactures' 3 year warranty or give me a new warranty with the new motor. After a lot of back and forth and many unreturned calls on my part, I finally got the warranty but it also came with a lot of unprofessional attitude from the staff (one woman in particular by the name of [redacted]). In addition, on numerous occasions, I have tried to schedule service appts for my pool cover, only to be told they have nothing available and that they would call me back with appt details only to never receive calls back. It was only with my persistence and insistence was I able to get the service needed.
Most recently as of of last week, I have been trying to schedule an appt to have my cover repaired as it now only closes but does not open. On Friday, I called and spoke with [redacted] again who told me they were working on the service schedule and that she would call me back on Monday with appt details. Monday came and went and there was no call (as did Tuesday). On Wednesday, I called again, [redacted] was not available so I spoke to a woman named [redacted] who told me they were still working on the schedule and I should call back again in 2 hrs. When I called back, I spoke to [redacted] (again with an attitude) who told me she still did not have a time / date for an appt for me because apparently according to [redacted] - some of their guys decided they did not want to work so they were trying to "move things around." Finally, after pushing, [redacted] agreed to send a team out the next day but only for a diagnostic of the situation - saying that if it was a "broken line" they would not have the time to fix and I would have to reschedule for next week.
I have been simple amazed by the overall lack of service professionalism with this business as well as lack of customer service and management over site. I would strongly warn anyone looking to purchase a Safety Pool cover to look elsewhere because the service offered by this company is the absolute worst. Simply a miserable experience and if I did not need this cover working for the safety of my children would not tolerate this.
