We have a solar energy system contract with ***. We did a pre-site, prepared the blue prints, paid for engineering, submitted the permits, paid for the permits (almost $1,000), scheduled an installation day with Ms. and ordered the materials for her job.

3 days before the scheduled installation day she called us to cancel. We informed her that the cancelation period has ended as indicated in our contract, that we have incurred in cost and that the installation must proceed as agreed.

We have talked with *** and the reason for the installation of the solar energy system is that another contractor wants to do a window job on her house and is recommending cancelling the work with us so they can finance her their work.

We have informed *** that the contract provides a 3-day period to cancel as the Florida Law requires and that she can't cancel. However, we are willing to cancel the contract if at least we are able to recuperate the money we have already spend on her job.

We will not give Renew (Financing company) a Cancellation approval, nor give any other contractor a release of the Notice of Commencement so they can do their work, until that fee has been covered.

Please understand that Solar Sage has incurred on expenses after the three days cancellation period, and they require to be covered in order to give a release and accept the cancellation. At the moment, we are not able to accept the cancellation request and will continue with an installation on another date provided by *** as stated on our contract.
