All gym memberships are paid for the upcoming month. A no contract gym simply means you are free to cancel your membership at any time, without being held to a defined number of months you're required to pay before you are eligible to cancel. ...

All we ask is that the member comes into the gym and signs a cancellation sheet. These terms are given to each member at sign up and are clearly written in the signed agreement the member agreed to and signed during initial registration. The members assumption that all gyms, even those with contracts, cancels memberships once payment is not received is false. A gym with a contract will continue to bill for the full contracted period, most often 12 months. Again, the benefit of a contract free gym is that you are free to cancel your membership at anytime, however, as stated in the agreement, you must come in and cancel with a signed sheet. Also, as with any business, phone calls can only be answered during business hours. Our business, or front desk, hours are clearly posted on the front entry door, on the initial registration paperwork, our website, our facebook page, and are stated on our answering services that automatically pick up when calls are made outside of normal business hours. Also, as with any gym membership, you are not paying just for the times you go to the gym. You are paying for the right to have access to the gym. It is not the responsibility of the gym for its members to attend We simply provide the opportunity for our members to attend. Day passes are available at a rate of $5 per day if someone wishes to only pay for the days they use our equipment and facility. We cannot waive the charge for previous months of service that are unpaid, and to avoid any further charges the member needs to either, A)sign a cancellation sheet or B) send in a written cancellation request to [redacted] Furthermore, the signed agreement states a 30 day cancellation notice, which we will wave and cancel the membership immediately upon receipt of the cancellation notice and any unpaid dues.
