I was referred to ***'s by a co-worker to get a pair of glasses from my union When I arrived the doctor was at lunch so I waitedWhile I as a female worker in assisting me to pick out frames for VDT glasses (computer glasses) and regular seeing glassesI picked out the frames she showed she should me I could get.At this time the doctor arrived and examined my eyes
Upon leaving a gentlemen explained the difference between the progressive lens and stated they were extra, but for me it would be I then asked for a tent in my glasses and he stated it would be The gentlemen knew I was from the unionI gave him towards my bill, and I never received a receipt just a business card Had he given me a receipt I would of instead known that the frames were not free I get a phone call telling me my glasses were ready and I owed four hundred and something dollarsHe stated he would have his manager call but he never didLast week Brian called and I explained
on Aug ** I went for a vision exam to the above retailer for the purpose of ordering prescription glasses suitable for my day to day vision needs
I was promised suitable lenses and frames within a week (seven days or august **)Although the retailer immediately billed me through *** *** credit card -*** *** Mason, Ohio on my own and without confirmation by the retailer-poor communication-I was given glasses that were UNSUITABLE and provided virtually NO VISIONThat is I could not see clear images and felt unsafe ambulating or travellingIn addition the lenses hurt my eyesAs can be seen in the attached pictures I ordered lenses that thinned the milk bottle effectIn short I felt blinded and simply could not see straightI asked Marcela from *** *** to help me as I could not see her (saw three of her)I told her the glasses were severely defective and asked for HELP! She said no optometrist was available but she or the optometrist would be in contact with me
