We decided to go with solar union for our home solar projectThe sales person who came to our house and explain everything in detail with patience and good mannerHowever the communication and coordination within the company department is terribleMy solar contract was signed up on 3/29/and installation scheduled on 4/28/17, however the installation was cancelled on last minutes due to the contractor had a car accident and cannot lead the team, I was inform by solar union they don't have any back up teamSolar union end up cancelled our installation and re-scheduled on 5/5/I explained to the solar union project manager I am not at home by the time of installation due to work and manager response the homeowner don't need to be at home by the time of installation,everything will go fineSince the electricity box is located outside of the house.On the day of installation I received a call from the project manager while at work requesting I return home due to the installation team need to get in to my backyard in order to complete the installation and said I didn't expect you will lock your backyard doorEnd up I leave my work early and return home to open the backyard door for the installation teamAfter the installation our first inspection scheduled on 5/31/17,inspector indicate some kind of label is missing for the electricity box and he will return at the end of the day to put on the label on our electricity box and everything should be good (No one return to my home to put on the label by the end of the day)Received phone call from the project manager days after the inspection, indicate the inspection didn't pass from the city due to some label is missingThey re-schedule 2nd inspection on 6/8/17, received phone call from the project manager the day prior the inspection said they need to cancel the inspection due the engineer still working on the labelToday 6/15/the city inspector and solar company inspector show up on my front door while I am at workThey wait outside of my house for hour trying to reach me in order to complete the inspection however I am not at home, because no one ever contact me from solar union regarding the inspection they scheduled for todayLuckily I see the inspector from my home security camera and I end up leaving work early again to return home to complete the final inspectionI guess is too late to cancel the solar contract at this time but I am definitely not satisfy with the customer services solar union provided
