Unprofessional scammers!
They kept billing more than we should have gotten and refused to adjust the charges despite assuring me that they would. I highly recommend against these scammers. Even if they promise that they will not scam us again, I will not register here.
They are so difficult to deal with and communicate.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I contacted the business one more time after I submitted this complaint, and they were very helpful. I was issued a satisfactory refund and the account was closed. When I contacted them that last time, I did not inform them of this Revdex.com complaint, so the actions they took seem to reflect a willingness to do the right thing rather simply a response to a threat of adverse action. Although they had failed to correct the problem when I contacted them before, the attitude of the person with whom I spoke the last time was very apologetic and helpful
Thank you for looking into this for me. Although this turned out to be resolved outside of the context of this complaint, I really appreciate your looking into this on my behalf.Regards, *** ***

This monkey business is run by clowns.

I actually enjoyed at the beginning cause Antoine was chill.
He told me to come two days before my month started.

I enjoyed it for about a week, so I spoke highly of this gym to one of my friends - who ended up coming to the gym with me for the free trial.

Everything was great until this fat ugly douchebag ruined everything.
That a***'s name is Russell Duvall.

My friend and I were enjoying the workout, racked the bar for heavy squats and took a break by stepping out of the rack for two minutes.

That ugly mofo Russell just walks into the rack, takes the clips off, unracked some plates without asking us.
My friend got pissed so he rushed to the rack and told this i***t that we weren't done.

This a***e proceeded to act like he knew everything and gave us the lecture on the gym etiquettes. My friend was about to throw st down with this out-of-shape a***e.

I had to calm him down. He vouched never to come back again.

Later on, the gym kept asking me if my friend would join and I kept saying no.
If not for this rude a***e, my friend surely would have joined but that douchebag just ruined everything.

Not recommended.

I hated every moment of the gym experience.
I called them 8 times before Antoine Robinson finally called me back.
From the get-go this guy talked big things like discounts.

I joined with my then girlfriend to have a discount.
Months pass by and I was being charged above what I have been promised.
I talked to Antoine and he said that he'd take care of the whole thing and that I don't have to do anything.

Months go by and I got bill snowballing because I am late in payment.
I talked to Antoine and he then assured me that he'd sort these out.

In the end, I paid well over what we agreed upon.

I talked to at least six different people and no one even had a follow-up on this issue.

The gym is so poorly managed that the equipment and the workout area are so unsanitary. I was out of my mind for paying so much for this gym.

I waited till my 1 year contract expired yet still was charged (me and my gf) so I had to send emails and make phone calls just so that they stop charging me.

It was terrible and I would never set a foot inside this gym again!

Without a doubt worst gym one will ever come across.

When I joined while ago, I had high hopes since Antoine Robinson - the manager of Gaithersburg branch promised many features.

After coming to the gym months after months, nothing Antoine Robinson promised has happened.

The main issue I have is being charged above my rate.

I keep contacting billing department as well as other staffs but to no avail.

Antoine Robinson acknowledges the error and keeps assuring me that he will take care of it, only to come back to me and tell me that "the policy is different!"

The dude has no authority over what's been happening, and staffs are rude and incompetent.

I got out late last year and joined a different gym and couldn't be any happier.

I don't have to waste time trying to talk to the associates about wrongful charges.

I learned my lesson so learn from my mistake and do not join this gym.

You will surely be stressed out about them charging above your rate even though you signed a contract.

The most unprofessional frauds ever! Soldierfit has horrible customer service and keeps overcharging EVERY MONTH! Each wrong charge was not corrected even though I asked countless times.

Russell "president of operations" Duvall (AKA 5'5" fat douchebag) stated "Whoever you talked to has NO RIGHT to give you the rate you got!" without even checking the facts.

Antoine Robinson, the Gaithersburg gym manager sold out hard when I was deciding on the gym. Nothing he ever said happened. I asked him to correct the charges but no action was taken, even though he said he will correct them.

I wish I have never gone here.

Do not go here. WORST GYM EVER!

I really want to give it a five star as I sorta enjoy working out without much crowd.

I also wish I could say that all the trainers are fun, friendly, professional and helpful but I can't.

There is one bum who is an attention-whore, loudly obnoxious, nagging about everything, cranky and just oozing d-baggery.

Let's call this bum GNI (Gender Neutral It).

I had to approach this GNI just as I did with any other desk-attendant or trainers and even other gym members.

I have been saying hello to this GNI for months yet, this GNI just stares and notices me then just proceeds to ignore without saying hi.

After a bootcamp class, this GNI was lying down on the floor watching on the phone.
So I approached and asked if GNI could show me some glute workouts and immediately this GNI gives that condescending dirty look.

So I immediately caught the intention, just thanked for telling me what to do (GNI just told me vaguely what I can do) and left GNI alone.
This GNI then proceeds to places itself in the couch and avoiding me like a plague.

This GNI is just loud and freaking obnoxious and rants about anything and everything.

I was using one of the equipments well-ahead of the class time and before I finish and clean them up myself, this GNI just comes and puts them back.

Some time ago, this GNI caught my mistake and proceeded to point it out (and would have not even said hello if GNI didn't point out that fault).
I welcome constructive criticisms but not blaming for the sake of someone feeling better about oneself.

I try to have thick skin and try not to let this insignificant GNI bother me, but hey a cockroach can be so unnerving if it's in the same place as you are.

Though I do not wish to break the law, If this place had huge matted area, i'd love to have challenged this GNI to either: boxing, muay thai, grappling, or mma sparring (I don't care about the weight difference).

Other than that, I've worked with the others and barracks commander Antoine Robinson is a professional and a nice dude.

I feel comfortable asking him or any other trainers for advice.

Before I joined the gym, however, Antoine promised me lots of things:
1) Enlarging the gym to include the locker rooms
2) Unlimited personal training sessions when I come
3) MMA-training (though he stated that I'd have to go to Frederick with even more expensive packet)
4) Guided workout routine and meal plans
5) Weekly assessments with BMI

So far, none has happened.

This gym is quite disorganized and I cannot easily find out which trainer is teaching which session or if there are special classes on Saturday/Sunday.

Also the gym is dirty (not properly cleaned) and severely lacks equipments.
The gym has broken equipments for months and they have not been fixed or replaced.

I am a serious martial artist and there is just one awkward mid-sized, light (for me) bag but there is no room to move around to hit it.

If there are about 5 or more people in the workout area (not the class area), the workout place gets crowded quickly and you have to find a room to use barbells or other equipments.

While many people are great, there are some ignorant people who don't put the equipments back or just rack up barbell in one of the polls and proceeds to do the other workouts.

They charge you 17th day of each months (of upcoming month) which is odd, cause I haven't had any other place taking the fee out that soon.
I am supposed to have monthly discounts but I had notified them numerous times without having it being taken care of.

I'm "okay" with this gym because there is ample parking space and usually it isn't too crowded.
But this gym needs a serious management skills.

Lastly, this is a "military-themed" gym.
Though the founder was an Army infantryman and Antoine himself is a ranger, overwhelming majority aren't.

These trainers saying "Hoo-ah" which is an Army battle cry without having been the service members themselves is sorta laughable.

I have noticed the overwhelming majority of trainers are out of shape.
This GNI had pot belly and has a calf size of my forearms (yes calf size is genetic and hard to grow in size but they're definitely not trained).
Other trainer is too skinny (slightly after anorexic).
The other trainers are too fat.
I doubt if many of these trainers could run a two mile in 13:18 time.
I doubt if many of these trainers could do a single dead hang pull-up without kipping.
I doubt if many of these trainers could do 60 push-ups in 2 minutes.
I doubt if many of these trainers could do 60 crunches in 1:30 minutes.

There were spec-ops courses and it's not about teaching/preparing one to be a spec ops member.
It's a smaller classes lead by a trainer.

Overall, okay but not too excited.
Had I known, I could and would have gone to the different gym with more equipments and less monthly fees.

I regret registering at Soldierfit and left briefly after a few months.

Many trainers are great but Russell Duvall and Nick Soto are self-entitled cocky douchebags.

These two are just too damn difficult to deal with.

Russell Duvall has that shortman complex for being 5'5" and 230lbs of mostly fat.
This pudgey douchey meatball just snatches equipments or put them back when I'm taking break for half a minute, then offers the advice nobody asked for.

How about this rude as stops frowning and acting tough cause he looks like 65 when he's 45 (2017). Pic https://anonimag.es/image/JT9zPy5

Nick Soto is such a loudass attention-whore. This it cannot talk without screaming off the top of his enlarged lungs.
This dude took HGH and roids too much that already got a bald spot when he's only 32 (2017). Another proof is bulky guts for enlarged intestines and bloated fingers.
This as hugs the plates and racks and leaves the mess everywhere!
This douchebag too, has snatched or put back the equipments I were using without asking.

Additionally, I paid $98.00 monthly fees and should have gotten 3 personal training sessions per month but never happened. I was never explained why I didn't get such service.

Overall, just damn unpleasant and expensive for lacking equipment.
I wouldn't recommend this gym.
