Here is our side of the storyMrs [redacted] contacted us weeks after we had closed the doors to any new contractsSeeing as her ex husband whom she had just moved out from was friends with my brother, I decided to be nice and plow her drivewayWhen she called she stated that she was nervous she would not find a company to plow her so I assured her that we would do it and that I would stop over that night for her to sign contract and to pick up depositWe have over customers for snow plowing including large commercial and we follow the same protocolWe take deposit with signed agreement, and remainder is due by January 1stAs per the check deposit, yes it was depositedAs per our secretary all checks are deposited immediately, as we have had customers post date checks, etc and when they do get deposited, the customer does have sufficient funds in there accountMrs [redacted] found address to our home ( different address from home and business), and told my wife she wanted a refundShe was told we do not refund any customers moneyYour deposit will cover you until January 1st, and when the remainder of your payment is due by Jan 1st, that covers you from Jan 1- April 1stMrs [redacted] was not ignored eitherDuring a recent snow plow exercise, our company cell phone was shattered and insurance had not sent a new one yet at the time, and our voicemail had been changed letting customers know to reach us at a different number.Mrs [redacted] story also changed several times as when she came to our home of residence, she said she wanted a refund because she could not afford it, but then says she wants a refund because she was not called back.Mrs [redacted] was treated as any customer would be treatedContract signed, deposit paid, driveway staked and thats itAny other customer would be handled the same wayWe apologize for the phone issue, but we were not ignoring her and there is only so much we can control, that is not one of them as other customers understood but her.V/RBenjamin L***, OwnerSoldiers Point Services, LLC

MrL [redacted] specifically said very bad things in regards to my ex-husband and said what a bad person he is I never spoke to his wife nor have I spoken to anyone since all communications have been ignored I never said I could not afford the snow plow services and when I said that I would like a refund because I was not called back that is all part of being treated as a customer The only thing I have ever said and I am still saying is that I would like and deserve a refund The stakes were never put in my driveway The stakes that are currently in my driveway are from a different company and a much nicer company that I hired to provide the snow plowing services I called, texted and emailed the company to find out when the stakes were going to be put in my driveway and was completely ignored.The story in regards to their cell phone is also a lie It was out of service for several days and even now when you call it is the original cell phone # There was never any recording that mentioned a new number.I was not treated as any other customer, unless they consider ignoring their customers the correct way to treat them I also do not have a singed contract I was told that their printer broke that evening and was sent an email of the contract instead.This company is a scam The "secretary" that MrL [redacted] is referring to is his mother All money gets deposited into her personal account not a business account There is no company account You really need to let people know to watch out for these thieves!Yes I am being adamant about getting this refund due to my situation The $that this company stole from me is food for my children I would think MrL [redacted] could empathize a bit as I know he has many children and more on the way To this day this is the first response from the companyI do not feel that this is in any way satisfactory and again it is a complete lie!!! ***, that in fact is not true, and I have witnesses who were here when Mrs *** Approached our homeI have all paperwork from all customers and contracts stating that a deposit is made with contract, and remainder is due By January 1st Mrs *** told us that she can not afford snow plowing this yearShe paid the first half of $which will take her until January 1st If remainder of payment is not paid by then, no snow plowing will be done after this dateAs per our contracts, no refundsOnce again, sorry for not responding in a timely manner as phone was broken, but an email could of easily been sent if contact wanted to be made
