To whom it may concern:This email is in response to Complaint ID# ***, filed with your office on 2-26-17. Solei Solar is a solar sales company, who works as an intermediary with each client and our installation partner, to install their solar array. The client signed a contract on
9-30-with the installation company (Centrair Electric). From that day, Centrair Electric began the process (site survey, array design, permit approval, etc) that is required to eventually install panels on our client's roof-- the solar installation took place on 12-15-16. After installation, Centrair was to notify the city that the client is ready for their final inspection, in preparation of turning the system on.On 2-27-17, we received notification from the client that their system was not yet operating. I immediately spoke with the client and asked them to call Rocky Mountain Power to see why they hadn't turned their solar system on. RMP mentioned that the city still hadn't given them notification that they were ready to operate their solar system. After some research, we discovered that the hoin the last steps of the installation process came from the city, who had not completed their final inspection, nor informed RMP-- without the city's final report, RMP would not know that the client's home is ready to be turned on. The city had an appointment to do their final inspection on 3-13-17, but Centrair's technician was late arriving and the city inspector left. This final inspection was rescheduled for Monday, 3-20-17. With this final piece completed, the client will now be in line for RMP to go to the home, install the net meter and turn the system on-- we are not aware of this date, because RMP does their final work on a "first come, first serve" basis.Solei Solar has been quick to respond to the client's concerns and questions, and I have personally been in communication with the client numerous times. Unfortunately, during a solar installation there a lot of moving parts and entities that must do their work in order for this to happen in a smooth and timely manner. I can assure you that Solei Solar works tirelessly as the "middle man" to create satisfied clients.Kindest regards,Carlos *L***VP of Operationscellcl***@soleisolar.com

I am rejecting this response because: The Business Solei Solar did not do everything as stated in their response.? I had tried a number of times to contact the company and did not receive a reponse back.? Once the installatinon was completed on 12/15/it would have been in the compainies best interest to follow up and make sure the subcontractors that they hire complete the work in a timely manner.? We are the ones that contacted the City and Rocky Mountain Power after not getting the response we felt was acceptaable from Solei SolarIt was then that we were infromed by the City that the inspector had been out multiple times for the inspection and the contractors did not show upIt came to the point that the City refused to come out again with out an additional fee being paid.? The inspection was finally completed on 3/21/17.? We are now waiting for Rocky Mountain to come out and turn on the solar.? It would be nice to have the compny Solei Solar apoligize and accept responsibility? for dropping the ball? on more than one occasion instead of blaming everyone elseI believe a response on the Better Businees website letting others know the problems and concerns we have had so othesr do not have to go through what we have.? I am rejecting this response because: The Business Solei Solar did not do everything as stated in their response.  I had tried a number of times to contact the company and did not receive a reponse back.  Once the installatinon was completed on 12/15/2016 it would have been in the compainies best interest to follow up and make sure the subcontractors that they hire complete the work in a timely manner.  We are the ones that contacted the City and Rocky Mountain Power after not getting the response we felt was acceptaable from Solei Solar. It was then that we were infromed by the City that the inspector had been out multiple times for the inspection and the contractors did not show up. It came to the point that the City refused to come out again with out an additional fee being paid.  The inspection was finally completed on 3/21/17.  We are now waiting for Rocky Mountain to come out and turn on the solar.  It would be nice to have the compny Solei Solar apoligize and accept responsibility for dropping the ball on more than one occasion instead of blaming everyone else. I believe a response on the Better Businees website letting others know the problems and concerns we have had so othesr do not have to go through what we have.  All the sites I visited before selecting Solei Solar rave about the great customer service they had.  Unfortuntely the customer service we received was very poor.  No communication from the company once they had us sign all the papers for the financing.
Sincerely,
