We sold her the boot in new condition. If the customer or an employee detected a defect, we would have swapped the product for her in store without hesitation. Although the boot came back with a crease, we exchanged the boot for [redacted] and offered her store credit per our "no cash refund/exchange only" store policy. Our store policy is visible at the counter (point of purchase) and it is also written on our receipt. Our store credit is valid for one year, so if a customer does not see anything they would like to purchase at the time, they can always come back at a different time. We feel we accommodated [redacted] appropriately and followed store policy.
