In the summer of 2013, Matt Kilgore of Solid Rock Stone Builders installed a new walkway for me at my homeAt the time I was happy with the resultI was told by Matt if there ever was a problem to contact him and it would be resolvedIn the spring/summer of I noticied that in many places on my sidewalk the grout was gone.I was worried about the effect winter would have on my sidewalk, so I contacted MattMany messages were left on his voicemail, NONE were answered..Finally in September of 2015, I called again and spoke to Matt, he promised that he would come and look at it.Nerver came..In October I called again, spoke to him, he asked me to take pictures of the worst spots and text them to him.I did..Never heard from him, so I called back and he chided me for waiting so late in the year to call him...although I had been calling since the summer...he said he would contact me and stop byNever heard from him again..Luckily I met a wonderful Amish man who regrouted my sidewalk this summer and he said that the wrong grout was usedMy sidewalk was not inexpensive and I expected the person that I used to follow up with any problems..wow was I mistaken , I would never use or suggest Matt Kilgore to any of my friends
I contracted this company to rebuild a retaining wall that was bowing out do to a drainage issue The company started the project about months late with continuous lies and excuses We were told that if the solution didn't work they would be back in the Spring to make good on Well as we suspected I had to make repeated phone calls and e-mails Finally about mid summer someone showed up and took the wall half down and left the jobI came home to a pile of stones in front of the entrance to our cellar doorThis company does not live up to there promises and is very difficult to work with

As a businessman, Matt was punctual, honest, and very fair with pricing. It was wonderful to do business with such a professional and courteous individual! Matt and his staff have built some really beautiful stone walls in our eastern suburbs; I would highly recommend Matt Kilgore and his crew at Solid Rock Stone Builders! Doing business with Matt reminded me of how things used to be in "the old days." I cannot say enough about what a positive experience it was to work with Matt and his company! Thank You so much!!
