No, my items were in the car the registered owner is [redacted] , was able to get through to your company after having to call on a blocked number bc my number was blocked and having multiple hang ups and contacting multiple services and lawyers, even called local law enforcement who said they’ve been trying to contact your company but unable to get through bc multiple people have complained about this corrupt system/businesssomeone finally helped me with an appointment but now am getting charged fees for storing my items for “days” when I have been calling for days to get my items back with no answer??? What is this system you have in place?? How are you going to be appointment only but make it impossible to make an appointment and then charge people bc you can’t answer a phone

California state law requires us to remove and itemize personal property inside the vehicle as it is the responsibility of the registered owner to pay for and take ownership of said propertyNot the financial company that owns the vehicleHense forth we are required to have personel to remove and securely store the property in secure facilities with alarms and security footage to ensure its safetyNo property or money could have been taken from the debtor, all property would have been returned at the time of redemption, anything liquid, perishable, or flammable would have been thrown away, as listed in business and professions code

I am rejecting this response because:I have witnessed the repossession at the time that occurred and there statements will say that the driver took off with my son halfway out the car and the driver reversed the vehicle while my sons fiancé was in the trunk we can pursue this farther if u want

Lol of course I’m not but I am not making a claim I am filing a complaint and actually I can on her behalf due to the fact that I am authorized to do so ??

I am rejecting this response because:this do not fix my car and what you guys did to iy!!!

Im sorry, due to CA 3rd party laws I am unable to speak to anyone other that the registered owner that is listed on the account about these issues [redacted] is not listed under any account that we havePlease refer to Business an professions code for the rules and regulations regarding storage of the unitThank you

We are a repossession company and not a tow company, as a repossession company under the Business and Professions code 7507.9 we remove and inventory all personal effects. On 4-10-15 Mrs. [redacted] had called our office very upset wanting to pick up her purse and ID. Mrs. [redacted] arrived to our office in...

the afternoon asking for her purse and ATM card and ID. We advised Mrs. [redacted] that we would only be able to release her ID and ATM card per her financial company, Mrs. [redacted] was very upset and claimed her checkbook was inside of the purse. My lot manager advised me of the checkbook inside of a coach wallet, we pulled it out of the purse and returned it back to her without payment. Mrs. [redacted] was furious at this point demanding we return her purse, I arrived to the office at this time and spoke to Mrs. [redacted]. I advised Mrs. [redacted] that her purse would not be returned without payment; Mrs. [redacted] was upset that we had gone through her purse and personal belongings. I tried to explain the repo process but she did not care to listen, Mrs. [redacted] then made a statement and said my daughters piggy bank better be in there when I come back and the $25 I put in there better be there!  On 4-28-15 Mrs. [redacted] returned to pick up the rest of her property at 11am Mrs. [redacted] was given an itemized list of the property found in her vehicle. Mrs. [redacted] looked over the list and signed it, we gave her the property and she left. We received a call from Mrs. [redacted] at about 2:14pm claiming there was now property missing. Mrs. [redacted] stated there was a piggy bank that belonged to her daughter with about $45 dollars inside. Mrs. [redacted] then stated there was other property missing, when asked she just stated I don’t know but I know there were other things inside! I have talked to Mrs. [redacted] on the phone and the story of missing property continues to change. I have read the complaint sent to the Revdex.com and now there is a stereo missing and a passport and SS card missing. The story of the Piggy bank has also changed now she claims it was her Piggy Bank and not her daughters, and Many Many things missing? There was an Itemize list provided to Mrs. [redacted] when she picked up her belongings, Mrs. [redacted] read over the list and then signed the release form.   Thank You

PROS: ????

Although I was taught when delievering feedback - you should attempt to deliever ATLEAST one positive ...ALWAYS! Truth be told, sadly there's not one positive - at all.

CONS:

They need to hire more staff...in order to pick up your vehicle - you must call in the morning to get an afternoon appointment, which I an positive they only release cars between 1-2;45PM.

Be prepared to making multiple calls to get in touch with someone...I called and it rang 10-15X and then would disconnect!? Once you get through the automated system...your waiting another 15 mins - then finally your relieved a live agent to assist you,,,but they ask you to hold again 'to locate your paperwork'...(um oh - sure!)

I got an appt @ 2:45PM, well my husband & son arrived @ 2:25 sitting at the front window...theywere NOT achknowledge and literally no one asked if they needed assistance until 2:55PM!

Yup - they made a pretty penny from us...they had my car for 9 days!

Before filing a complaint I'm gonna leave a review based on my VERY LIMITED dealings with them. My car was repossesed and paid to have released hours after. This is the 3rd company involved in the repossesion and by far the worst. When you call to pick up your vehicle they never answer the phone or put you on hold on never come back. The person I did speak to sounded like she never went past the 3rd grade. Extremely rude. Think her name was Bonquisha. I was told I needed to make an appt to pick up my vehicle. When I started to ask about how that process worked she said please hold and HUNG UP ON ME! What kind of scam is this? I paid my money for my mistake and these people arent anyone I ever authorized to be dealing with. And theres no law that says they have to answer the phone? Ill be filing a complaint within the next couple hours if I dont have my vehicle back.

Review: My vehicle was repossessed in the middle of me moving. I had a lot of personal and non personal things in my vehicle at the time. I was told when I called after the repo that they needed 24 hours to process the vehicle, which was fine and I had no issue with that, however I did need my ATM, ID and checkbook to get through the weekend. They allowed me to pick those up but told me that they couldn't release my purse to me because my personal effects (atm card, checkbook, id) weren't in my purse when repoed (they were in the cup holder). Then when I went to pick up ALL of my things, I was not returned my purse (which still had my passport, wallet [including my ss card], other misc personal things). The report they gave me said they had 3 bags but I was only given 2 bags of property. When I questioned this they said that they curtain rod hangers (that were taped together) counted as a 3rd bag.... There were many MANY MANY things not returned to me. Clothing I know was in there, a piggy bank with $45 cash and some change (it was right after my birthday and I had JUST received that cash the night it was repoed), a stereo that I was going to install in the vehicle, car charger, and the list goes on and on. I have contacted them several times to try to find out where my things are with no avail. They keep avoiding me and avoiding the question. My next move will be getting a lawyer. My personal life is at stake with those personal things still out there who knows where.Desired Settlement: I want my things!! They didn't just disappear. Someone has them and I want them back. My social security card is a huge thing. I am going to have to live thinking at some point someone is going to steal my identity!! How do you tell me that you have my purse and then not give it to me?!?

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:I was never upset when picking up my things. I was upset over the phone because they wouldn't release it to me until Monday and it was a Friday. After saying they would release my ID and Checkbook and ATM card I went up there and caused NO issues because I understood the law and how they needed time to process everything. I never ONCE asked for my purse while at the place of business. When I signed for my things it was because they had everything in 2 huge black bags that were tightly taped and heavy. I had assumed that everything was in there because I am a good person and I always give people the benefit of the doubt before jumping to conclusions. This has never happened to me before so I didn't know the parameters. The gentleman (Ken) even offered to carry the bags for me to the truck I was driving. I happily obliged. If I was so rude would they have done that? And I called IMMEDIATELY when I got home and noticed things were missing. That is when I was told I would receive a dispute letter and to fax it back to them. Which I did. And never heard back. As for noticing more things were gone, yes, because I was in the middle of moving! As for the piggy bank, whether it's mine or my daughters has NO relevance. It is OURS. And I never said it had $25 dollars in it as her family had given her 2 $20 bills and her cousin gave her $5. And as I went through the rest of the stuff I obviously recalled things that were still in my vehicle and that I hadn't put in my new place yet that have mysteriously disappeared. I am not the bad person here. I have every call recorded as I work in a place that call records EVERY inbound and outbound call. I will get those and have my attorney contact you since you can't seem to right the wrongs in this situation. Also, we would like the tape recordings from your place of business of my "behavior" while I was there on both occasions. Thank you. We will be in contact soon.

Review: This business came and repossessed my vehicle. They held on to my personal belongings that were inside my vehicle. The company would not give me the address to pick up my personal belonging and would make excuses and were unclear of the law that protected their business and allowed that type of business practices to occur. They told me that they did not follow towing yard guide lines and laws for vehicle repossession. I would like this company to be investigated.Desired Settlement: Fees associated with the repossession of my vehicle and any damages allowed under Can state law.

On Saturday 3-21-15 we repossessed a 2015 [redacted] Altima at 5am from [redacted]’s given home address. We received a call from [redacted] on Monday 3-23-15 at about 11:41am demanding and claiming we stole her car and personal belongings. [redacted] was very angry and irate and claimed we did not have a tow license therefore we could not hold her car. We are not a tow truck company we are a repossession company, License number [redacted] Bureau of Security and Investigative services. We tried to explain this several times to [redacted] but she insisted we were incorrect. The customer service representatives tried to explain the process on retrieving her car and personal belongings and [redacted] hung up several times. On 4-2-15 at about 1:13pm [redacted] called our office asking to speak to a manger and immediately started yelling profanities and threatening to blow up our facility. We explained to [redacted] that she was making terrorist threats and that we would be calling the police if she continued with this type of behavior. [redacted] continued to make threats and demanded we give her our address. We put [redacted] on hold and called the Sacramento Police department. The Police department advised us not to give her our address for the safety of our employees and to give them a call if she should up to our facility. We got back on the phone with [redacted] and advised her that we had called the Police, [redacted] hung up. On 4-2-15 at about 1:20pm [redacted] called back and asked to talk to the manager, the call was transferred to [redacted] our GM. I talked to [redacted] and explained to her that under the Business and Professions Code 7507.3 and 7507.9 (e) we had to remove the property out of her vehicle. I explained to [redacted] that she would need a police release (VC28) Government Code 26751 & 41612 [redacted] continued with her profanity and claimed she was on her way to our office. On 4-3-15 at about 9am [redacted] called wanting an appointment to pick up her car, we advised [redacted] that she would need to be here at 11am. I advised [redacted] that there would be a Police present when she arrived because of the Bomb threats. [redacted] arrived at 11am without incident and signed all paperwork pertaining to her repossession. [redacted] inspected her property and made sure it was all there and then inspected her car for damage; [redacted] signed the condition report and left the property.
