I am rejecting this response because: Once again you are sooooo very wrongAnd you call yourself a Christian and go to weekly Bible Study? You were NOT just hired for web development and updatingAre you delusional???? I have reports from expertsin your same field that shows all that you have NOT done for meMy recent web developer has submitted me a report for all that you claim you had done and did not doYou were paidfor work to be done and perhaps updating was done BUT you were to handle SEO work, to cover search engines that were pertinentto my industry and based on what I saw that you had as my search engines as of late I am more upset...........we walked thru back in the Fall in what search engines needed to be on there as I was not on these pages at all and you did not make those changes as a report shows this.Technology does not let one downGoogle Analytics from Day one for my site back in shows all for what you did not do for me and my website. One you don't know what you are doing, you profess in knowing your craft and the reports show you don't know what you are doing and once I did not haveEbay Classifieds to advertise on last Summer it shows dramatically in what you NEVER did for me.Cheryl, you can't hide your head under the sand as I am not going awayI have reports that prove my claims!!!!! You have a choice to pay half the $10,000or I will be filing against you in Small Claims Court next weekIf you are unable to work this out thru Revdex.com, they then lower your rating, they post that it was unresolved along with all of the communication and it stands on the Internet for years....do you want that?Cheryl, I was on the phone with you back in January and you noticed you had never done Htags and you said you had missed that way back in and that is very important to Google............and I paid you time to get that done, you didn't do it and instead loaded in health clearancesSeriously? You claim updating was done....but was that best money spent on my end? Mobile friendly became important years and as of years ago mandatoryYou NEVERshared this importance to me and back a month ago you claimed it was something new...hmmmmm, yrs and yrs is new to you? Instead of spending the money like I did with you in the last years, it should've been spent on redeveloping my website for mobile friendly but you NEVER directed me to do soI lack the knowledgeto tell you what to tell me and you get paid to be of that knowledgeable web developer to advise me when I need to do things or notEspecially when I am crying that no one is calling my phone number from my website and my name is nowhere to be found per search engines. You wronged me CherylI am not going away......make the choice make ammends and pay the $or see you in court*** *** ***

Dear *** ***,I first worked with *** * *** in early Ms* *** approached me to develop a website forher business, * ***'s * ***.It was an extensive site and was developed exactly to herspecifications, including creating a logoShe was charged $300.00, which is in alignment
withmy basic website price pointI set up Google Analytics and Google Places and she was giventhe login information which would require and equip her to track the traffic to her site.Since developing her site, Ms* *** has called upon me on a regular basis to make updates toher site, as well as create flyers, which were completed at the rate of $25/hourThough thehourly rate was increased over time for new clients, Ms* ***was kept at the original hourly ratein consistency with my customer retention values.Ms* *** has been pleased with the work and has praised the site and my services many times.Ms* *** offered feedback on multiple occasions that the site was ranking well, which was greatbecause no time was devoted specifically to optimizing her siteAs stated, Ms* *** hired myservices for web development and content updates. In February I suggested to *** that she convert her site to Word PressThough it wouldrequire a complete reworking of her site, the advantage would far outweigh the costIt wouldhave eliminated the need to pay someone else to update the content, thus saving her money inthe long runShe declined, saying she chose not to spend her money that way, and that shepreferred to pay me to make changes to her siteThis failure to change meant that her site wasbecoming obsolete and that would be reflected in the site's accessibility by users on theircomputers, tablets or smart phones.Ms* *** had become notoriously slow in paying her billsShe would promise that paymentswere forthcoming but weeks would go by and no money arrivedOften times when it did, it wasonly part of what was promisedDuring these times, I would not hear from Ms* *** about hersite, nor was my company providing any services or monitoring any aspects of the site.It became routine for Ms* *** to contact me via phone, email, or text at all hours demandingattentionI attempted to set boundaries and require her to send emails only and to be clear thatI was not available in the evenings nor on SundaysThe chaos of working with Ms* *** andtrying to meet her expectations became exceedingly difficult and we stopped working togetherthe end of 2015.In April 2016, Ms* *** contacted me and asked to resume my servicesAn agreement wasreached with the stipulation that she pay what she owed ($outstanding for a year's time)and that all new work be prepaid prior to service deliveryI received payment June 17, 2016,nearly two months later, and we began working together again. In the fall of 2016, Ms* ***told me her site was no longer indexed on the first page of Google. It was determined that * ***'s * *** ranking had come primarily from advertising with eBayClassifiedsWhen eBay Classifieds ceased to exist, her rankings dropped respectively andpredictably.Ms* ***and I discussed SEO (search engine optimization) and I made suggestions as to howshe could increase the Google rankingThere are data points for ranking in Google andmany people vying for those positionsIt requires constant attention to stay high in the rankings, and still no one can honestly promise that page one results can be achieved or maintainedInaddition, there are many other factors involved in the success of a business, which areunrelated to the internet. When Ms* ***'s sales dropped, she assumed that the website design was solely responsibleand that the site itself deliberately detracted from her businessMs* *** mistakenly reports thatshe was denied SEO services, but she did not contract for, nor hire me in that capacityI wasvery clear with Ms* *** that SEO is not a service provided under the current agreement, norwas it a specialty of mine.In the winter of 2016, I was given a large project to add 6-clearances for each of 10-dogson the * ***'s Labrador websiteMs* ***felt this would be useful information for potentialclientsThis was in addition to ongoing updates to the siteTime was allotted between thoseprojects and a focus began on SEO for her siteI spent a month working on SEO and sentdocuments to her showing the progress that was being madeThough there was growth, it wasnot meeting the needs of Ms* ***'s businessI urged Ms* ***to hire someone whospecializes in SEOShe said she knew of someone that she would contactI have no way ofknowing if Ms* *** followed through with this task.I completed the projects of adding clearances to the website and updates and sent her a finalstatement for $dated February 27, At this point, Ms* ***had used up the moneyshe had prepaidIn an act of good faith and to support her insistence that the site was her solemeans of income, I relaxed my stance in order to allow the site to get updated and give Ms.* ***time to create incomeTo date, I have not received payment for that statementIt is nownearing days overdue.Ms* *** hired me to develop a website for her, which was completed to her exactspecifications for $300.00, the lowest price-point for a basic siteMs* *** asked for updates tothe site over the course of six years, which were completedI responded quickly to her requestsand completed work in a timely manner. On or about April13, 2017, Ms* ***began sending emails and texts that were hostile, abusiveand highly unprofessionalShe began threatening me and making accusations that her declinein business was a direct result of SEQ and that she expected recourse and demanded I remedythe situationHer accusations and hostility became public via social media and through her filedcomplaint with PeopleCiaim.comIt is alarming and appalling that Ms* *** has made such outrageous and defaming accusationsabout the quality and scope of the work she has receivedTo be clear, the failures of her siteare not due to any neglect, bad faith or lack of services on my partHer site's failures are theresult of her not hiring an SEQ expert to remedy her ranking situation independent of the workshe hired me forVVhile it is a layman's falsehood that web design includes every aspect of asite's performance, it is, in fact, untrue. This is a very unfortunate situation; however, there is no reason for me to return money to herfor work that was within the scope of our agreement and well over years oldNor is there anyreason for her to add on $5,for "services that were not done." Ms* ***saying I owe her fornot getting her site on the first page, is an unrealistic expectation even under the best ofcircumstances. My expectation is that this claim be dropped immediately and that Ms* *** be required tocease and desist any and all defamation she is conducting on lineShould you require, Iam able to provide extensive email and other correspondence between Ms* *** and myselfspanning the time frames that I serviced this accountI am confident that PeopleCiaim.com willsupport the response to Ms* ***'s accusations and find the claim without meritMs* *** hasfull access to her site and can expect that all future dealings with Solo Web Solutions will ceaseand that her $arrears is written off as a loss.Sincerely,Cheryl * S*Solo Web Solutions

I have sought legal advice and Ms ***'s complaints are unfoundedI was hired to develop Ms ***'s website and to do ongoing updates to that websiteI am entitled to payment for the work that was doneI was not hired to do anything other than development and updating

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  Cheryl,I will send this same response to People Claim. You still don't get it! You come up with this and that but bottomline you did NOT do what you were hired to do. Here is an example: If were to train a dog for hunting for a client. The dog goes home and as much as they guy [redacted]s his dog and his obedience, he still brought his dog to me to do a specific job and that is hunting. He needs this dog to hunt so he can put food on his table for his family. Over the next 5 years the young dog is out hunting alongside another older dog and bringing in game to the owner. Then the older dog dies. The owner goes out the next hunting season to hunt with the younger dog and the dog lacks desire to get the bird, won't get a bird, won't pick up a bird and it is obvious this dog was not trained to hunt. The younger dog just copied what the older dog did to receive attention and [redacted] from the master. While out in the field the owner notices the dog does tricks like jumping up in the air for no reason. The owner of the dog calls me. He asks me what can be done. He doesn't need a dog to be a circus dog, he needs a hunting dog. I tell him to take the dog on long walks, go to the market with the dog and [redacted] on him. None of that has anything to do with getting this dog to be a hunting working dog for him. So, after 6 months the owner reaches out to me and asks for his money returned as he did not get what he had paid for. Time had proven it out. This is what you did to me! I responded to the gal going to law school in Los Angeles indicating that I was willing to settle for the reimbursement for my expenses of $5000+. The law student felt you were in the wrong.  I give you one week to seek legal advice. Next Thursday May 4th I will file with small claims court for the full amount of $10k that includes damages to my business in loss of income.  I have experts in the web development industry that have provided me reports dating all the way back to the beginning. Hiding your head in the sand does not mean this situation is going away. You owe me my money back for doing work that did not give me a working web site. The design needs to work. You wasted my money and direction in the last year as instead you should've directed me to have you redesign my website for mobile friendly.Regarding claims I am defaming you......when it comes to business testimonials and reviews are not always good and can be instead very negative. I directly gave you my frustrations in writing about your lack of good in your business on your Facebook Business and Personal pages. I did not cast a huge venting to other sites. Both People Claim and Revdex.com place on their site for 3 years an unresolved claim, a rating and any complaints.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
