[redacted] , Thank you for taking the time reply I am not looking to imply guilt or fault, I am trying to find the root cause of this issue in my attic You indeed took a couple pictures when you came to my house They do show a pinhole of light I am requesting you to do me one small favor which shouldn’t take much time or effort Would love for one of your men to come to my house and just take a picture of each vent from the outside that clearly shows the size of the hole that was cut This may allow me to go to the people who blew insulation into my attic and possibly covered up the hole.I would appreciate you to remove that invoice as well That with all honesty was never disclosed to me via phone or email I am certain of this If that was disclosed to me upfront I most likely would have rejected it, as money is very tight for us right now.I am more than happy to remove this complaint if your team would be so kind to just come take those clear pictures of vent, and remove the invoice as well If you can do both of those things free of charge, I will 100% remove this complaint without any hesitation I thank you in advance for taking the time to communicate with me

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: In response to [redacted] - 1- I have not claimed to a customer However, I was given an invoice to services rendered that was never disclosed to me at any point in time.2- I did speak with a mold specialist who came and looked in my attic The mold specialist, which [redacted] informed me that he is not, told me that there is no chance the bathroom vent is the cause of all the mold He informed me that it could be a small part of the equation, but no chance that would be the root cause of all the mold in the attic.3- I had another roofer come over this weekend the check again Was informed there is no way you can see all of these vents are cut open correctly without removing some of the insulation that is in the attic( please see attached pictures)4- [redacted] states in #of this response that there “under no obligation to me, they met me in good faith” However, once again I did receive a large invoice for services rendered that were never disclosed I was never given the opportunity at any point to say no thank you, that would cost too much! I am looking for [redacted] simply to have his team return, show proof that all vents are open correctly and supply proof that they have been opened to proper standards.I am also looking for [redacted] to confirm he is waiving the invoice charge that was sent to meI am asking for this due to lack of anyone mentioning the large fees associated with a visit to my house, simply to make sure something was done properly Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The problem with the Vent pipe was not from original constructionIt occurred during the time Solomon Construction was installing the roofEven the gentleman sent to repair pipe had knowledge of damage to pipe during installation of new roofAs to what I want, I feel I am entitled to a full refundThey caused the problem and should be responsible for damage Sincerely, [redacted]

I reject this company response, they have not met any resolution to date

To Whom It May Concern, The problem is a leaking plumbing soil pipe connection from the time the house was built, from condensation inside the pipe, simple We have been to her house (3) times over this Her demands seem confusing What or how much, exactly and clearly stated,
does she want? $per the attached letter? We have done everything we were hired to do, and more Note: Please see attached documents and photos from homeowner. Kind Regards,*** ***

Please see our response below in bold as well as pictures.1- I have not claimed to a customer. However, I was given an invoice to services rendered that was never disclosed to me at any point in time.*** * was well aware that there is a fee for the expert service provided by Solomon Contracting, Inc. 2- I did speak with a mold specialist who came and looked in my attic. The mold specialist, which *** *** informed me that he is not, told me that there is no chance the bathroom vent is the cause of all the mold. He informed me that it could be a small part of the equation, but no chance that would be the root cause of all the mold in the attic. The “mold specialist” is offering an opinion, but this actually irrelevant to Solomon Contracting, Inc. We completed the work we were hired for and at the highest standards and complete satisfaction of our Customer. 3- I had another roofer come over this weekend the check again. Was informed there is no way you can see all of these vents are cut open correctly without removing some of the insulation that is in the attic( please see attached pictures) This is totally untrue. Just as we did, in *** *’s presence, access the roof, lift the vent, and see the hole (see attached pictures). Also, the vent holes are indeed visually accessible from the attic. It will take some effort, but they are indeed visually accessible 4- *** *** states in #of this response that there “under no obligation to me, they met me in good faith”. However, once again I did receive a large invoice for services rendered that were never disclosed. I was never given the opportunity at any point to say no thank you, that would cost too much! I am looking for *** *** simply to have his team return, show proof that all vents are open correctly and supply proof that they have been opened to proper standards. We have proven such. With all of *** *’s experts on site, they should provide *** * proof that the vents are open or not open. If *** * insists that Solomon Contracting, Incaccess the roof vents, again, to photo, again, we will comply, for a reasonable $per vent plus a $base service fee.I am also looking for *** *** to confirm he is waiving the invoice charge that was sent to meI am asking for this due to lack of anyone mentioning the large fees associated with a visit to my house, simply to make sure something was done properly.Should *** * retract this unwarranted complaint, we may waive the initial invoice. Sincerely,Solomon Contracting, Inc

2014, are indeed properly installed according to manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards. [redacted] is aware of this based on our inspection of the roof and the attic on 1/30/18 in his presence and at his request. [redacted] was even provided photos and a consultation at his dining room table, regarding this matter.3)      The [redacted] brand model 750 vents used on the home are of the overall  size of 16” x 20 5/16” x 5” , not “12 x 12”. [redacted] was made aware of the inaccurate assessments and of the misinformation that he was receiving from other parties. 4)      After an actual physical identification of (6) vent openings easily visible from inside the attic, and being provided with sample photos verifying the actual vent opening existence, it is falsely stated in this Revdex.com complaint that the “vents that Solomon installed at the gutter board for air intake were installed without cutting the holes in the plywood decking to allow air in”. 5)      [redacted] acknowledged his understanding that Solomon Contracting, Inc. did not replace, modify, nor install any soffit material.  Solomon Contracting, Inc. was not hired by the previous homeowner to replace, modify, nor install any soffit. [redacted] was made aware of and acknowledged his understanding of this fact during the onsite inspection in his presence. Also, though irrelevant, the only aluminum fascia that Solomon Contracting, Inc. replaced was on the gables. No eave (gutter board) fascia was replaced. [redacted] is also aware of this fact. 6)      More than likely, the actual source of any excess humidity is a bathroom exhaust fan that is openly discharging into the attic since [redacted] has lived in the house. This disconnected fan vent flex pipe was discovered by us during our attic inspection as a courtesy to [redacted].  We reconnected this pipe to the fan at his request. It was then learned that the previous homeowner and his men had installed the two fans, one for each of the two bathrooms, and the aluminum flex tube from the two fans to the roof ridge vent, and had blown-in additional insulation material over the entire attic space.  Upon exiting the attic [redacted] stated that this humidity source in the attic causing the mold made perfect sense because he personally showers in this Master bathroom every day with this fan on, since he moved into the house, while his wife uses the other hall bathroom.
