Review: On November **, 2014 I ordered two pairs of sunglasses from [redacted] the sum of both purchases were $816.57. I received my sunglasses and decided I did not want them. On 12/**/2014 I requested a return label from the company and I personally packed both sunglasses back into the same box I received them in. I attached the prepaid return label that already had the weight of the package on it. On 12/**/2014 I received a return for the sum of $386.51 which was for only one pair of the sunglasses. When I emailed the company and said that there were two pairs of sunglasses and I received a return for only one they said they will investigate further in their warehouse. I emailed the company on multiple occasions and they did not get back to me. I contacted my credit card company and filed for a dispute. I did not win this dispute. Solstice falsified information and claimed they did not receive the second pair. I contacted my mailing carrier [redacted] and opened a claim with them. They told me that the box had indeed shipped in one piece and had not been open or damaged once it left their facilities. If it was not opened on the way back to solstice there is no way that one item went missing until it was received by their warehouse. I am beyond disgusted by the way their company handled my concerns and provided no help. Solstice sunglasses stole $430.06 from me. I will never do business with them again and suggest the same to all that want to work with a company that has some integrity.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the my return of $430.06.

Review: I placed an order for sunglasses from this company online, therefore this is not the exact store I had an issue with. There was no option on the Revdex.com site to file a complaint for online orders.

On August [redacted] I purchased a $200 solstice sunglasses gift card from a company named [redacted]. I used the gift card to purchase $185 worth of glasses ($202 with tax, of which I paid $2 with my credit card) at solstice sunglasses online. I decided to exchange the glasses later on and was told I had to return my current pair and reorder.

I sent my glasses back, and was refunded the $2 to my credit card on October [redacted]. This was after they took some time to process it. I asked solstice 5 weeks ago how to get the replacement voucher for $200, and was told they would notify [redacted] and have it emailed to me.

I called solstice today to follow up since it had been 5 weeks with no email containing the gift card, and was told by "[redacted]" (refused to give her last name) that in order to get the gift card, I had to give a written notice that I wanted a new one. On top of that, I was told that the gift card's value had reduced to $100 on November [redacted], therefore I would only get 50% of it's value back.

Basically, I was told that I had to give a written notice that I want a complete refund, instead of $2 I had paid out of pocket. I was never told this information when I initially called 5 weeks ago - if I had been told, I would not have this issue right now. I still do not understand how the value of my gift card has reduced from $200 to $100 - I don't remember seeing this anywhere in the fine print when purchasing it, and have never in my life heard of a gift card reducing value.Desired Settlement: Please send back $200 credited to my original form of payment, or via check to my billing address. I do not wish to purchase from this company again and wish to take my business elsewhere.
