Solutions for Real Estate Reviews (6)

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find the resolution is satisfactory to me

Solutions for Real Estate addressed these concerns by the time the original complaint was filed

We did receive the refund at this timeThank you,

I cannot produce any receipt or proof of the purchase of furnace filters I can produce a picture of the furnace filter left in the apartment by the previous tenant It is unreasonable to ask for filter receipts, laughable actually The carpet, the walls, the hard wood floors were a mess when I moved in and I did nothing to improve the situation I also did nothing to make any of these situations worse but I am not disputing that portion of my deposit Again, I am going to reiterate my complaints so both you and the is at Solutions for real estate can understand them.I was charged $for carpet cleaning and I guarantee the carpets were never cleaned Within a week of me moving out of the apartment the carpet was removed and sitting at the end of the driveway The carpet was old and torn when I moved in and Solutions for Real Estate knows this I did not receive an invoice only a charge on the final bill I cannot produce an invoice I never had access to but I also guarantee Solutions for Real Estate can produce the invoice because of their dishonesty in this affair I want my $back because I was charged for something that never happened I can produce e-mail after e-mail to Jamie describing the urine smell in the carpet from the time I moved in to the time I moved outThe Air Conditioning unit stopped working and without even inspecting the furnace filter the repairman told me I would have to pay for the repair as I caused it My furnace filter was not that dirty The Air Conditioning unit is old and needed repair I asked for a detailed invoice on the repair and all I got was a BS explanation as to why I was at fault for the repair Based on the filter I removed when I moved in the furnace, neither the owner nor his realtor looked at the filter as it was caked with dirt and debris Property values are down and he stands to lose a lot of money on the sale of the unit and is taking advantage of me Again, I asked repeatedly for the AC invoice and Jamie stone-walled my attempts to get the actual invoice each time I asked for it It was too inconvenient to obtain and I was a distraction from her important work in the office I want my $back.I asked to have my tub enclosure checked for Black Mold I was getting black mold on shampoo containers and under the enclosure l still have one I can provide with the black mold on it Instead of checking for black mold the person doing the checking did a thorough cleaning of the tub enclosure with Mildew killer I did not ask for them to clean my tub I asked them to check for Black Mold I was then told there was no black mold and I charged for the cleaning on my next monthly bill I did not receive an invoice for the work done I was forced to relinquish the money from my rental payment The charge was $for the cleaning This was a blatant attempt to cover up the black mold problem I worked in Restoration and have training in Black Mold and the correct mitigation proceduresThey were not followed My proof of this is I filed a complaint with Jamie about the return of the Black Mold about weeks after the tub was cleaned with Mildew remover Further proof of Solution for Real Estate covis the fact they replaced the tub enclosure with tile before putting the apartment on the market I was charged $without an invoice I want this money back Lastly on the final bill I sent you regarding the water bill, I was again charged $to have the tub cleaned as part of the overall cleaning of the apartment And yet the tub enclosure was replaced with tile as shown in the Zillow listing available through Solutions for Real Estate marketing materials I assume the portion of the tub cleaning to mimic the previous egregious total of $ I want this money refunded to me as well I find it interesting that you want me to provide receipts in your last e-mail when I repeatedly asked for invoices and information from Solutions and they repeatedly denied me any information Seems like they had a lot to hide I need proof from them that they did indeed pay the final water bill from deposit money or this is going to get nasty in a hurry I acted throughout the term of the lease in good faith I messed up the screen and knew I would get dinged but the above stuff is crap and a way for them to save money on a losing investment at the expense of an honest tenant I have sent a complaint on their company to the Attorney General I want my $and until I get it this dispute remains open

Mitch is lying about the what transpired during my stay The furnace filter was never checked before the conclusion was drawn that it was dirty and caused the problem In other words, when confronted by the service tech, he told me I would have to pay because I caused the problem even though he had never looked at the filter The owners realtor admitted to neighbors that they were going to sell and therefore would not spend any extra money to do repairs for me I asked to have my bathroom checked for black mold and Mitch charged me to have it cleaned., How is that possible How excited would a tenet be to request service when they know they are going to be charged just to have someone look at the problem I have e-mail upon e-mail explaining the urine smell from the carpets and the black mold that were sent to Jamie with nothing done My insistence or lack thereof to have work completed stemmed from the fact I did not have extra money to have them come out and take a look I was charged $for carpet cleaning when the carpets were in fact removed and replaced within a week of me moving out I also have pictures of the new bathroom tile that replaced the old moldy shower surround and yet I was again charged to have the shower cleaned Also, the worked my as to make sure that the apartment was moready when I left They came in to make it ready to put on the market to sell and charged me for it Mitch and Jamie have acted completely irresponsibly in this circumstance and they are trying to take advantage of someone with out the where with all to sue them as they should be sued in this situation I am asking for $of charges that are egregious and excessive for the circumstances Until I receive this money this case will remain open I am sending a letter to the Attorney General and will be interested to know how his office will feel about Mitch taking advantage of a single father on a fixed income, trying to get two kids into college I was taken advantage of and complained though out my stay and Mitch does not have the guts to talk to an absentee owner to do what's right It is truly amazing Solutions for Real Estate can remain in business when they lie and distort the truth as they do I want my $that they overcharged my account so I can move forward and put this insidious experience behind me

Attached is the lease stating if the tenant is negligent (and we use furnace filter as example), the tenant shall pay for repair immediately The repair was made over months ago and the owner was kind enough to not charge any late fees due to this outstanding balance After the tenant was notified of the owner not renewing the lease, the tenant called in a work order for “mold” in the bathroom and a leak in the Laundry room Our sub-contractor was able to clean the mildew with cleaner and could not duplicate a leak in the laundry room The owner should not incur these expenses for the tenant’s negligence for not running the bathroom fan or repairs As you can see from the attached pictures, the tenant could have been charged for more based on the condition he left the property (i.e dirty, stain on walls, torn carpet, ripped screen, etc.) Whether or not a property is being market for sale doesn’t dismiss the tenant’s obligations (per the lease) to leave a property in this condition After discussions with the owner regarding charges to the tenant, the owner decided not to pursue all chargeable fees Some of the carpet was in such bad shape after further inspection the owner decided to replace Thank you for this opportunity / [redacted] Style Definitions */
