Review: Solution Home Builders Inc ([redacted], Suffolk License # [redacted]) located at [redacted] was contracted in fall of 2010 to replace two (2) roofs at a property located on Bayport Avenue, Bayport NY for an elderly couple. All materials were brand new and the shingles were 30 year architectural. Two times since the work was completed, shingles have come lose, fallen off and have blown all around the yard, even getting stuck in the gutters causing water flow issues. [redacted] and his team came out once to replace the broken/defective shingles the first time. The second time, he indicated he and his team would be out to fix the faulty shingles again. Since that time, several months have passed with numerous phone calls placed to [redacted] and Solution Home Builders Inc by the elderly couple without a single return call. They even tried writing letters. On July [redacted] an additional phone call was made, of which [redacted] returned the call. Per that conversation, he assured us that Solutions Home Builders Inc would be out to the property no later than Saturday July *th to rectify the situation. July *th came and went (we even tried calling him noon on the *th) with no show, no call and no follow-up.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome is for Solution Home Builders Inc to honor their 5 year warranty as stated in the contract agreement and fix the defective shingles at the property on Bayport Avenue in Bayport. In addition, we'd like all of the shingles still up on the roof examined and reviewed to ensure for proper installation. Having brand new shingles come off a roof twice in less than two years denotes improper installation at time of job. Additionally none of the gutters installed seem to be draining properly. We'd like all gutters examined and the angles adjusted to ensure proper drainage.

Review: Solution home builders had not supplied us with a warranty or receipts that were done on my house.

They were paid and never finished any of paid services. [redacted] is the [redacted] has not answered emails or phone calls twe were willing to resovle this matter. We were told these services would be paid for none of them were paid in full leaving us with sub contractor wanting the balance. [redacted] does not have the ability to perform house rebuilds and large contruction work .His work is well under standards He did not perform or do the right thing in paper work to building dept or operating a crane. He and his workers are very careless. He has not watch over any of the work being done. And never informed us. We are rebuilding from Hurricane Sandy and he knew of our situation and took advantage of us we are know stuck with unfinished work and no warrenties or receipts from sub contractors. He needs to sign a release of lien . And he has not. For over a month and half we were telling [redacted] the roof needs to be fixed he never got them to fix it I called after stuggling to find the roofers name. There is something wrong when a contractor does not answer phone calls and emails.Desired Settlement: We want any and all sub contractors paid receipts phone numbers . We need an ac compressor and vents deliveried and installed from Cool Temps,Plumber,what his services and how much he was paid. Now [redacted] has told us that Foundation floor was not included in the original agreement and that was not what we were told so now there is a $7000 to put pour concrete.

We need our screen for sliding door , bracket for loft, and and all original paper work. We need all our material that were paid for return or compensated.

He needs to put in writing he damage an RV and my neighbors fence and our foundation with the crane. And paid for the damages.He needs to sign release of lien.
