Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/08/28) */ I have been talking with [redacted] , who was an excellent tenant and generally quite reliableI told her we are very willing to adjust the charges if she can provide substantiation for her claim, (that is, her starting and ending tenant walkthrus) or if we can find the documents hereWe only have a record of her keys and garage door opener being returned, no other documents in the envelope Unfortunately, she has no copy of her walk thrus and we have no records, either digitally or in her physical file, that indicate she submitted either walkthruSo without those records, and according to her lease, we have to hold her responsible for those items However, because [redacted] was such a great tenant, and generally very exacting, and especially since she says it was a hard copy document, there IS room to believe that it is possible, it was inadvertently filed in the wrong place (along with the cleaning receipts she says she submitted on move out)We are in the process of looking to see if that is the case I told her we would look for it, and am in the process of doing that.We had hoped to be done already, but didn't realize some of the potential files have already been archivedI should be able to access the remainder by this coming Monday, 8/31, and will be happy to report the outcome Unfortunately, if her walkthrus are NOT found we have to rely on what we DO have in writing, according to paragraph of her lease: "Resident acknowledges receipt of the "MoInspection Form" and accepts the responsibility to complete said form within seven (7) days of taking possession and return a completed, signed copy to ManagementFailure to do so shall be Resident's acknowledgment that Property is in perfect condition in every particular and that any damages, including breakage, burns and wear or otherwise not shown shall be Resident's responsibility and expense."
