On Friday evening, December 18, my mother fell and broke her shoulder - a week before her 90th birthdayThe next day - Saturday - and also the weekend before Christmas - we reached out to Home Instead in a moment of desperationMy mother's primary care giver was leaving for the holidays and Mom needed round-the-clock care in her home...immediately [redacted] with Home Instead's Charlotte office jumped into action and arranged 24-hour care within hours of my callShe prepared the paperwork for us to sign and everything was in place for the care givers to start on Sunday [redacted] took care of everything for us and put our minds at ease at a stressful and hectic time All of the care givers were fantasticThey were professional, prompt and courteous, but most importantly - expressed a genuine interest in my mother's comfort and well-beingThey all brought a ray of sunshine to our family at an otherwise difficult time I cannot thank the team at Home Instead enough for what they did for my mother and the rest of my familyI would recommend them highly

I was exceptionally pleased with the professional service given by this business as regards the care of my elderly mother. From the receptionist to the case managers and caregivers, everyone exhibited a positive, can-do attitude which was greatly appreciated. During a time of crisis, Home Instead personnel provided the calming assurance that that our family needed. They showed great care and concern while
assisting my mother. Office staff returned phone calls in a timely manner and were pleasant to work with. All personnel were flexible to my mother's schedule and needs. It was a great comfort to know that my mother was appreciated and that she was so very well cared for. I heartily recommend them.

Review: I was a member of Soma Bronx Health Club in Bronx, NY from 2010-2013. During this time, I had a direct withdrawl system set up with the gym so that my monthly payment was withdrawn directly from my credit card. I terminated my membership in July, 2013 as I moved to a different state. After cancellation of my services, the facility charged my card from August-November, 2013. As this credit card was linked to a bank account I was in the process of closing, I did not realize that these charges were made until November, 2013. At that time, I made multiple attempts to contact the facility for reimbursement of these charges and had no success. I was even told by the [redacted] at one point that he had no way of contacting the management team and that I should file a police report or hire a lawyer.

For the past year, I have attempted to contact the gym multiple times and was told that they could not release the information for the managers of the facility and could only relay information to them. After multiple complaints, I was finally able to email a [redacted], [redacted] on October [redacted], 2014. He assured me that the total of $125.40 which is owed to me would be mailed in the form of a check but I have not received anything from them, nor proper follow up regarding this complaint. I have emailed documentation from the [redacted] of the facility that I am owed this amount, but the last notification that I received was that they are waiting for a "response to process the check." This correspondence was on 11/**/14. I have documentation in my email account of this correspondence. I believe that I have given this facility more than sufficient time and notification regarding my complaint and have not made any progress in over a year. This is completely unacceptable.Desired Settlement: Total amount owed to me is $125.40
