Somerset Hills Doors

Review: On June 6, 2012 we had a custom door for our home made from Somerset Hills Doors. When the door was installed in September, 2012 the lock did not work properly. November 2012 a locksmith came out and determined the lock was defective and suggested it be replaced since the bolt was not fully opening when using the key. Mr. [redacted] indicated, shortly there after, that the original lock manufacturer was acquired by another company and he would need some time to get the new lock. February 2013 Mr. [redacted] informed me that the lock was finally being shipped. After countless attempts, month after month, to contact Mr. [redacted] (owner) by phone and e-mail in July 2013 [redacted] indicated by phone that the lock was in and that he was sending his locksmith. Again, weeks went by with no response. In August 2013 we reached out to the lock manufacturer and confirmed that the lock was indeed shipped. We also reached out to the original locksmith and confirmed that he did not have the lock. The lock cost approximately $1,325 and needs to be replaced.Desired Settlement: Replacement of old lock & installation of the new lock
