Also the reps admissions of a stronger transformer being responsible for at least part or all of the poor reception should be acknowledged by Nutone rather than treating a customer as a nuisance as their local rep and AsstTechnical Service Manager has How would any consumer know of this transformer issue on their own?!Oh, one more thing, the clock in the Intercom base station runs fast and requires resetting! We contacted Ms [redacted] todayThe vac items were not purchased directly from our company and would need to be returned to the original DistOur company will contactthe Dist (All Phase) and authorize the returnWe also offered a no-charge replacement hose but Ms [redacted] declined this offer [redacted] ***s from our company will get back toMs [redacted] after we contact All Phase [redacted]

Our company contacted Mr [redacted] and confirmed the product in question is a furnaceBroan-NuTone LLC in Hartford, WIdoes not manufacture or sell furnacesThe unit inquestion was sold by Nordyne Distributing in Missouri Our company followed up with Nordyne and we were told [redacted] from Nordyne has been in contact withMr [redacted] on this issue [redacted] Customer Service Mgr.Broan-NuTone LLC

The unit in question is not a Broan branded unit and it was sold by an affiliated company (Venmar) in CanadaOur Customer Service team in Canada did get aholdof Mr [redacted] and we have agreed to replace the motor at no-chargeI understand Mr [redacted] has accepted the offer and this issue should be resolved [redacted]

A representative from our company discussed this matter with Mrs [redacted] todayWe have agreed to send out a replacement CentralVac unit (Model PP600) to help resolve this matterMy understanding is Mrs [redacted] was satisfied with this offer and our follow-up[redacted]

We continue to get a completely different story on this matter from the local Service Rep so we are at an impasse on this matterAs an accommodation to Mr*** we willoffer a reimbursement of $250 to help resolve and close this issue. Broan contacted me today to say they will send a replacement hood and should reach me byMondayorTuesday next week*** *** said that I should contact him after I install the new hood and tested it for its working conditionI am to contact him when I check the unit out and he will give me direction on how to return it free of chargeI am still getting harassing calls from Sears credit card; I asked them to cancel my credit cardTheir contact number is ###-###-####.Thanks for your assistance.*** ***

We did find a local company who will come out to work on the hood for Mr***We called Mr*** today to give him the company informationand update on his request.*** ***Customer Service Mgr.Broan-Nutone LLC

Broan-Nutone contacted a local Service Center to visit The *** residence and below is their trip reportAll the functions of NM100WH intercom were checked and confirmed to be working. Several other FM and AM stations are being receivedOur company is not disputing
the station in question is not audible on the intercom but there are other factors involved in this matter (distance, power output etc). Even though there were no defects in the intercom system our company did pay the Service company for his time and labor. *** *** TRIP REPORT from Lakeland Service Upon arrival at Mr***'s home I questioned him on what his complaint was. He said that the AM on the radio did not work and that FM was ok. I started removing the master unit from the wall and asked if what if any particular station he was looking for and he said he mainly listened to 1130AM. Having past experience in the northern/west area of the metro and the 1130AM station being in the south/east area of the metro I let him know at that time that we have had past problems trying to get 1130AM due to distance and power output of that station. I said I would try and see what I could do. I inspected the antenna hook-up and determined it was hooked up according to the instructions. I removed the jumper wire across the AM terminals and tried a couple of different ways to get 1130AM with no good results. I hooked up the jumper wire back on and proceeded to see if I was receiving any local AM stations. I received several AM stations from the upper north metro area to assure me that the AM was working on the unit. I asked him if he gets 1130AM on all other radios in the house and if he had a radio in the house that we could try in the kitchen area. He did not offer another radio to try but did say that he gets 1130AM on his computer but did not answer if he received it on his other radios in the house.*** W***OwnerLakeland Services Inc . I could not help him with what he wanted so I put everything back together and told him that there was nothing further I could do

We contacted Mr*** this morning and offered to ship a replacement service motor at a discounted price to help resolve this matter.Mr*** accepted the offer and the part will ship in the next 24-hours and arrive to his home next week.*** ***Customer Service Mgr.Broan-Nutone
