Somerset Syrup and Concession Supply

Review: I placed an online order for a case of frozen cream cheese filled pretzels. When I received the product the pretzels were completely thawed out and warm to the touch, they had not been packed with enough dry ice for the weather and shipping conditions. I called the company and spoke with [redacted] and said I don't think they are safe to consume at this point. His first response was to say they should be fine just put them in the fridge, don't refreeze them and eat them within a week. I said I was not willing to do that, I had no way of knowing how long they'd been completely thawed and I wanted a refund and that they were welcome to have UPS pick the shipment back up if they liked but I would not consume it. [redacted] said he had to ask his boss about the refund. He called back left a message saying his boss says they're fine just give them to someone else then or donate them. I called back the next day and said this is unacceptable and I want a refund for product I can't use. I asked to speak to his boss directly which he would not let me do but said he'd call me back. He then said in order to get a refund I must return the product. I said that was fine he could have UPS do a call tag or return service for it. He arranged that and UPS did pick the package back up, however they still have not given me a refund. I called back again left another message asking when I will get the refund and now [redacted] will not returns calls and has not given me the refund and it's been over two weeks since he said it would be done.Desired Settlement: I would like the refund I was told I would receive. I have also started a dispute with my credit card company for the charge since the company is ignoring me after they told me it would be done.

In regards to the complaint I filed recently for Somerset Syrup and Concessions Supply I have received a credit amount back from them for

$51.30 which was the credit minus the return shipping cost. I still don't feel I should have had to pay for their return shipping cost but at least was getting the majority of my money back this way after going back and forth with them repeatedly. I still feel their customer service is awful for a company and I should not have had to fight back and forth to get my refund and that I shouldn't have had to pay the return shipping but at least they did finally apply the credit they said they would so in that sense the issue is closed. I would not purchase from them or deal with them again in the future.
