Review: on 1-31-13 I took my 2002 saturn in for inspection, oil change and purchase of 4 new tires, waitted about 3.5 hours and repairs were completed, I paid for services rendered, later in the day I had to go about 40 miles to take a jacket to my son ( at work ) and about 3 miles away from destination the check engine light came on, where arrived ( within 10 minutes ) my son being a tow truck driver took a jack and looked under car and engine oil was allover the underside of the car ( defective oil filter installed by sts ) he towed me into his employers lot ( secured ) and contacted sts the following morning, I requestedthey cover whatever damages there were and they refused, they instead dispatched a tow truck to bringcar to their [redacted] location ( I had paid 126.00 to be towed back in ) later that day I called to check status of repair and was told ws ready, he manaer coldn't explain what happened yet didanother oil change and gave me a free oil change certificate, upon start up the engine was markedly much louder and took the car to engine shop I have used in past & confirmed due to lack of loil head gasket blew out ( 1200.00 ) repair, I contacted the sts stores regional mger & he offered 15% off the cost of repair, I refused, I then went to another shop for new shocks and they as well confirmed head gasket leaking, last week 2-22-13 sts ewing nj shop also confirmed hed gasket is leaking, I have attempted many times to resolve but they are asking me to allow them to do repair ( if they can't perform a simple oil change, would you allow them to do major engine work ?Desired Settlement: I have [redacted]s in [redacted] who is well versed in his kind of work ( has done other engine work for me in the past and they are trustworthly, I would request sts to pay [redacted]'s the 1200.00 the cost for the head gasket replacement and the walk away, they have contiinuily tried their best to sap more $ out fo me for non sense repairs rather than address he cause, this isn't fair and seeing the amount of damage it is a felony, pleaee assist
