One of the worst decisions I have made is to go to Sonia's Driving SchoolThey are unprofessional, rude, and ineptTo start, I scheduled road lessons with Sonia'sMy first lesson was fine, no issuesI received a call confirming the appointment, just as they said they wouldHowever, my second lesson was cancelled (due to weather) and they never called to rescheduleI had to call back a full week later to schedule my next lessonWhen the day came for said lesson, I received no call confirming my lesson for that eveningI called them minutes after my lesson was due to startI was told that the lessons for that evening had been cancelled, again due to weather, and they had written the wrong number down to contact meI found this incredibly odd, since they had contacted me in the pastAt this point, my road test was scheduled for a day or two later and I had no time for another lessonI ended up having lesson with them rather than the I had asked forI passed my road test, thankfully, due to familial help and practiceAfter passing my road test, Sonia's told me that they would handle everything concerning my licenseI specifically asked the woman behind the desk “What do I need to do now?” after I passed my testShe said "I will send the paperwork tomorrowCongratulations." I waited weeks, which I assumed was given the new regulations the *** had set upAfter those weeks I started calling Sonia's to inquire about my license and how long I should expect to waitI left messages, at various times throughout the day, asking them to call me back and I left my numberI never heard backFinally, weeks after passing my test, someone finally answered the phone at Sonia'sThey informed me that it was MY responsibility to fill out the paperwork for my license, and to go to the *** myselfI had days after passing my test...that was up in daysI was furious with themThey gave me information, how was I to know they were wrong?? I went through a driving school so they could help me in my process! So disappointed in my poor decision to use themI would NOT recommend them to anyone at all!
I say, one of the worst things I've ever done is to let my two kids take class from this terrible placeThere is no ethics on this "school" (if you can call it school)Both of my kids have issues when scheduling their driving tests that Sonia's driving school canceled without any previous notice but rather on same day of the scheduled testsTheir rule is that if you cancel you have to pay them a fee but the rule does not apply to them like if other's people time is not valuableMisplaced documents and schedules seem to be usual at this placeNot sure how state laws are applied but I don't think this "school" should have a license I have to give one start rating to be able to post this comment but in reality it should be NOTHING
Sonia request payment in full before you can start your RdLessons Well they canceled several lessons and never call back to reschedule They do not return phone calls Lessons should have ended in September and we are now going into December and still no call back or rescheduled lesson My daughter could have had her license by now and I paid in Full back in August
