Review: Dropped off a down comforter for washing. went to pick up 7 days later and it was not able to be located. I was taken in a back room to look for it, and I could not find it.I went in a few days later, I see what looks like my comforter hanging on a rack, covered in mold spots. it was determined that they washed it and did not dry it sufficiently and put it in a bag, causing it to mold.the owner, name is [redacted], said "what do you want" I said I want to be reimubursed. he said "tell me what you want. get a catalog pick something" then he said he would check with manager to see what happened and call me backi have not gotten a call in over two weeks and don't anticipate one. I went in to see and got the manager on the phone who promised me she would text the owner to get to the bottom of this. another week went byshe called today, to tell me no new news. I asked for the owners phone number, she would not give it. she would not give me his last name. she told me she has nothing to tell me further about the situation.they have my property, a $300 down comforter that they ruined, that is covered in mold spots, and I have nothing but a receipt to show for it. I want monetary restitution for the loss of my property and quite honestly, this man who owns the business is a pompous , rude person.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the cleaning of my comforter, which was $22i would like payment for the replacement of my comforter, which was $300. I would even take partial worth of it since it is about 2-3 years old.
