The facts of this case are below from the electronic record of the shipment in our system. Attempts were made to negotiate with client, but to no avail. From Alex/PDX on 3/10: A lift gate was required at time of pick up, an attempt charge for attempt on 3-to pick up freight, an
over 4xpallet charge, we also had to palletize three lbspieces of machinery on to a single pallet and band them to the pallet for safe transport**Per Stefon: Caller refused to authorize charges even in my attempt to mitigate those feesApparently there was some significant miscommunication on this order as to what we needed to pickup this freight and the caller felt Soniq was responsible for most of thisI mitigated this down to just an oversized pallet fee and he refused to pay that as wellNEED RECEIPT FOR PAYMENT AND PLEASE CALL ***X AND LET HIM KNOW THESE ARE SINGLE PIECES AND WE NEED IT TO BE ON A PLT WILL NOT BE PICKED UP TODAYDriver attempted pick up 3/9/and was told he needed a receipt to prove we had paid for the freight, and also the freight is heavy equipment tools and it is not palletizedre-attempt 3/10/

I am rejecting this response because:the original order was made very clear they were not on a pallet and they were loose pieces, Soniq driver decided he needed them palletized and I called and had company provide him with one and a helpertold them they needed to be picked up by noon and if they could not I had other options, they said there would be no problems and I should not worryNEVER A MENTION OF EXTRA CHARGE! then I receive a call min before items are no longer available for pickup, that my items were not picked up and could not bevery upset I call auction company to see if there was anything I could do to save my items only to find out they were picked up with no problemsi call soniq to comfirm and after waiting on hold, im told yes they were and they cant believe itthey tell me all is well and items will be delivered Mondaydays after it should have beenAGIAN NO MENTION OF EXTRA FEES/CHARGES! then monday morning I get a call to find out they will be delivered between 8-and need authorization for extra chargesAre you kidding methis company seem to not have a clue what was going on and I had to use my resources to let them know what there driver had donei requested to speak with management, they tell me they can take some charges away but not allafter a heated conversation he says I will have liftgate fee at dropoff because my forklift was no longer available, when I told him I would go get mine in 30mins to not pay charge he said ok I personally will tell driver to wait for you to unload with forklift, long story short driver arrived early and used liftgate, I explained forklift on trailer and he said no calls were made and offered to not write it down, I said no that would be lying and dont need to get him in middlei called soniq and requested call back and have not heard from them since

they gave me a price to ship items and then attempted a pickup, they said they could not pick up and phone calls were exchangedthen promised they would pick up next day as if they did not I would lose items; I said if they could not I wouldi was assure it would be no problemi received call with time items were gone that they could not pickup, very upset I called warehouse to find out they had picked them up and were goneso I called back to find out they had no recorded of that and would need to call me backthen called back to say yes everything was fine and no problem for Monday deliveryMonday morning I got a call that I would be charged extra for hasslesnothing had changed from day priorcall *** for further explanation
