I am rejecting this response because:Damage to the RV should have been covered by insurance that Sonny's RV purchased (and charged me for) per the attached email thread This also happens to be irrelevant to the complaint at hand, which is that the RV had no heat In his response to my complaint Brad D***, agrees (admits) that there was a problem, and still has not offered any adjustment Overnight temperatures during the rental period averaged degrees (historical temperature data can be found at a number of websites, including www.wunderground.com) I am requesting a full refund of the rental amount and security deposit (minus the 14.95/day charge for the premium)

To whom it may concern, On September 15, *** *** rented a motor home from us to go to Yellowstone National Park for nights On the same day, Mr*** wrecked our RV in Thermopolis, WY and we were not notified but by the Thermopolis police department and not by
him. On September 16, Mr*** emailed us that the furnace wasn’t working in the motor home so we suggested that he check in Jackson Hole, WY to see If there was a place that might be able to fix the problem at our cost so he would enjoy his vacation. On September 18, Mr*** again emailed us that his furnace still wasn’t working and that he did take it in that particular day to a place in Jackson Hole to have it looked at He said per his email quote: “We are going on day without heat (the heat has actually never worked) We took the RV to an RV Service center in Jackson today- the technician said that it likely was a 'limiter" that was causing the boiler to shut off after 5-minutes, but that to fix it, he would need to remove the whole boiler circuit panel control device, and he didn't have the time to do it today I also replaced the fuse for the boiler (#5), prior to taking it to Jackson.You're a family guy, so I know I don't need to be heavy handed about the misery that this is causing, particularly for my wife and children I am expecting a significant price adjustment.”We didn’t hear again from Mr*** until September 20, This is what he said:RV started smelling strongly of propane last night (Sun), so we are staying at LA Quinta You can pick up the RV here I am expecting a full refund and all of my security deposit back Anything short of that and I will take legal action.We did a complete check on the propane system when we were able to actually see the RV again and it passed with flying colors The furnace did have a problem with a transfer switch I told Mr*** that we would compensate him for his problems but he insisted on a full refund including his damage deposit He was quite belligerent toward us and stormed out if our dealership saying that he would be contacting us with a lawyer.About a week later Mr*** cancelled his payment through his credit card We had almost $1,in damages to the side of the RV of which he didn’t have the proper insurance coverage Now we have to fill out a cross complaint to get the damages paid by the card company and the rental itself.Mr*** has broken the contract that we had with him even though we had tried to work with him He has been unreasonable, even having used our motor home for a week so he could still go on his vacation.We are very disappointed that our dealership would be brought to such scrutiny when we tried to remedy the problem but have gotten nothing but harassment from this customer.Thank you for your time.
