I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I think the vendor is getting confused by the Revdex.com process.  I filled out a Revdex.com complaint against this vendor several weeks ago.  I assumed that he had seen the complaint and that that was why he contacted me.  We spoke together and resolved the situation by my purchasing a new device at a discounted rate.  Apparently the vendor received this complaint AFTER everything had been taken care of between us. Therefore, his comments that Revdex.com was used to "negotiate a better price" is simply wrong since the better price was agreed upon even before the complaint reached the vendor. Also, the vendor specifically reports that I was informed about the $350 fee to diagnose the instrument.  This is incorrect and is the entire crux of the problem.  If a $350 fee was divulged upfront I would never have accepted it and we would not be in this current situation.  If you impose a $350 fee to simply diagnose a problem you better make absolutely  sure that the other party fully understands and accepts this fee AND you should put this stipulation in writing.  The fact that we are now having this conversation is evidence that this information was not divulged (whether on purpose or by omission).  Lastly, the vendor gives the impression that somehow I acknowledged that his product is the #1 pachometer in the market;  in fact, I have no idea how his pachometer is rated.  I purchased a new pachometer from him primarily because he gave me a trade-in on the defective one and a special discounted rate.  Other than that I really have no idea how this instrument measures up to the many others that are available.  I would say that my prior experience with this equipment was satisfactory and ultimately the vendor seemed willing to meet me half way in this dispute.  Therefore, I hope that we are both satisfied and can lay the matter to rest.

It is dead”His unit was 12 years old.We gave him a Return Authorization Number and told him that there would be anevaluation fee of $350.00 to evaluate his unit.The doctor waited 3 months to send in his unit.On April 16, we sent him the cost of repairing his unit: $1920.25.This cost estimate included the evaluation fee of $350.00.We also sent him the cost of a new unit $2000.00This cost re?ected a $500.00 trade-in discount and did not include the evaluation fee.The Doctor wanted a better price for a new unit.He had one of his colleagues call us for our [redacted] show price.This is the price we give to new customers who go to the [redacted] show.He wanted his trade-in discount of $500.00 and the show price.He did not go to the [redacted] show.He admitted in discussions than he had tried a less expensive unit.He found that it was not easy to use and not accurate.He con?rmed that the Sonogage Pachometer was the easiest to use and the most accurateavailable.
