After a (thankfully) unsuccessful suicide attempt, my daughter was incarcerated in this facilityThis is NOT a place for depressed people, it is an addiction treatment facilityThe building resembles a juvenile detention center complete with guardsLobby is filthy, public bathrooms are not cleaned, cafeteria is not properly cleaned after mealsThe "doctor" who treated my daughter saw her a grand total of times, once after I had specifically requested that he no longer have any contact with my child which I'm pretty sure is a violation of HIPPA laws but that is a complaint for a different organizationThis was not an arbitrary request; I asked the social worker/therapist [redacted] and the Director of Services [redacted] if there was another doctor who could see my daughter to which they BOTH replied "yes"I ensured that I was crystal clear with both these women that Dr [redacted] was NOT under any circumstances to see my child again and was assured by both women that he would not be seeing my daughter againThe NEXT DAY my child was seen by himAfter I expressed my dissatisfaction with the "treatment" my daughter was receiving at Sonora, the "doctor" (Dr [redacted] called DCYF on my husband & I on the grounds of "neglect", which were found to be unsubstantiatedThis man is a misogynist as well as being a very vindictive soulAll I did was insist that my child be removed from Sonora and that earned me a visit from DCYF courtesy of Dr [redacted] This facility needs to learn about the "First do no harm" part of the Hippocratic oath and stop concentrating on the $21,they get every week for each child they have under their roofHORRIBLE, filthy, non-HIPPA compliant jail for childrenIf you can help it, don't ever allow your child to be sent there

The building resembles a juvenile detention center complete with guards. Lobby is filthy, public bathrooms are not cleaned, cafeteria is not properly cleaned after meals. The "doctor" who treated my daughter saw her a grand total of 3 times, once after I had specifically requested that he no longer have any contact with my child which I'm pretty sure is a violation of HIPPA laws but that is a complaint for a different organization.
