I am rejecting this response because:I originally filed my claim with Revdex.com on 4/19, not on 5/as Sons of Ramsey had indicated on their correspondence. Sons of Ramsey came back on many occasions to repair several issues resulting from their insulation. Allow me to list a few here for reference I, someone with no skill in this profession, was the one point out to this group of professional tile masters of the flaws:uneven tiles were installed on floor (total of large tiles were removed and replaced);slope of shower floor drained to outside of shower door, instead of to the drain intended in the middle of the shower floor;triangle seat with uneven front;and attempted to fix the nook in the shower; Each time Sons of Ramsey returned to fix one thing, then something else gone wrong, such as, chipped the tile in front of the nook.At this point, I am not quite sure how to resolve this issue, the chip in front of my nook. From the conversation thus far, I fear of the unprofessional action, I will face, and is it worth my time to put up with it. I have designed a beautiful master bath with other elements that I can focus on, I need to move on and forget about this nightmare!!!!This ‘tile master’ asked for payment a day prior to finish the project, and I was kindly provided. This was a huge mistake on my part, which I regret. I also regret working with Sons of Ramsey. Not only they are not at the professional level they called themselves, they are telling stories that are not true. I have all the dates/times along with documents and photos to support my claim I have no doubt that Sons of Ramsey has the expertise to do this type of work, however, they were not performed at their best on my project. I am not certain why the job was not done right the first time, so we could avoid this lengthy process trying to resolve the issues

I am rejecting this response because the options that the Sons of Ramsey gave us were either not permanent fixes for our grout or not ones they had any expertise in doing. The first option of having them tear out our grout and reapply the grout color we picked, the dark walnut, we did not feel confident in their mixing of the grout and application. We mixed the leftover grout from the original bag ourselves, it was considerably darker, just like when we had the *** ** *** employees mix itTheir reasoning that it only looked darker as it was applied to white tile does not hold true as we applied it to the leftover tile pieces from our floor. We also did not want them to tear out the grout as our floor is dark walnut tile and any chips would have shown as white everywhere. We were told by several tile experts, including them, that removal of grout always chips tile in some places. Their second option was for us to purchase grout stain and they would watch a video and try this on our floor. We purchased the grout stain and upon trying it ourselves we decided we would take the time and do it ourselves as some of their quality is not up to our standards. Their check for $covered shelves they broke and a toilet repair that they damaged while doing the original install, the remaining amount was no where near enough to purchase the grout stain, which was $49.99, let alone cover any laborWe also realize that the staining we did is not a permanent solution, as we have been told it only last several years. Although the Ramsey's seem really nice, we agree with them that we are probably done communicating. With the Ramsey's we do not believe we can get the quality repair that we need and desire in our home..Sincerely,

Tell us why here...I am simply not responsible for this customer picking the wrong color grout. It could possibly be that the batch of grout was simply mislabeled from the factory or that another product we were given by the customer to use, "[redacted]" has been known and reported to lighten the...

shade of grout three shades or more. The tile they compared this grout to at the store was white, and not a good comparison to their dark, mahogany colored tile. I have done my own research into this color on the internet and have found that Dark walnut grout is a greyish brown in color, and yes, I refused to change the color of the grout for free, as I was not responsible for choosing the color. Changing colors is a very messy and tedious process. I offered to do it for less than the "[redacted]" quoted them but they refused.Yes some cross words were exchanged, and apologies were made, but anybody would be angry for being relentlessly accused of doing something wrong when it is simply false. Something that between the two of us, there is more than fifty years worth of experience. We offered our own solutions, but none of them were good enough. Finally I decided to mail a refund for the amount I charged them to grout the floor (This was still not enough, but I did it anyway) but the next day we came to terms and offered to completely remove the grout and replace it with only the original, Dark Walnut color they wanted, for free. Upon arriving we apologies were made and with further discussion an agreement was made to not follow through with the tedious and messy process of removing and replacing grout. The agreement was, if the customer would simply purchase a product we researched and thought would be a decent fix for the problem. Once they had it, we were going to return and use this product to change the color of their grout, for free. That was around three weeks ago. We have not since heard from them. I was going to wait to reply to this complaint until after I had the opportunity to discuss it with the customer, however, today 7-11-2017 I discovered they cashed the refund check I mailed to them dated for June 14th. The deal we previously had and were waiting to fulfill is off. No further contact with this customer will be entertained

When we returned, we weren’t even allowed to correct the issues beforewe were being complained to. Nothing was thrown, ever. I have no idea wherethat accusation is coming from. There is no room in my profession for throwingany heavy, metal tools, or delicate tiles. Yes, a tile was chipped during theremoval of the old tile, it is nearly inevitable when removing properly installedtile.
