I have personally contacted this customer and tried to find a solution to his problem, unfortunately the problem he is experiencing is due to driving habits and not a manufacturer or dealer caused problem I tried to explain that brake and/or rotor issues are from wear and tear, no different
than having to replace tires Unfortunately, some people drive harder than other and require shorter interval replacements This answer is not satisfactory to the customer, he feels it's our fault and we should be paying for something that is expected wear and tear I wish there was a common ground that could be reached but the consumer wants us to pay for it all or he will bad mouth us to everyone he knowsWe cannot be held hostage when we've done no wrong and treated the customer with the utmost respect

We would like to visit with client and figure out a way to helpWe will not buy the car back for what the client paid as it has been almost a year since it was purchasedWe can, however, look at trading him out to a vehicle and do our best with the numbers. Thank you ***

I am rejecting this response because:
It is unacceptable that what is considered to be a "high performance " vehicle will experience problems with rotors twice within a 14 month period.  I asked the dealership to check out the vehicle thoroughly to be sure that there's not an underlying problem with the rotors or something else, and they continued to maintain the argument that it was due to driving habits. I have owned several vehicles, kept tgem for many years and never had issues with the rotors. One of my current vehicle's has over 100K and I have never had any problems with my rotors. I believe that the problem lies in the dealerships maintenance department.  After I experienced my issue with cavender audi I did some research into their dealership reviewing comments, and there are many compliments in regards to the cavender audis service department.  I will continue to maintain my position that cavender audi service management did not do the research to determine the root cause of the rotors.
