Customer contacted us via email on August 31, 2017 asking why he couldn't cash his 3 tickets at retail. We informed the player that these tickets had been recalled for integrity issues and players needed to send ALC the tickets for payment to ensure players received the correct prize amounts. Player...

was asked to mail the tickets along with a copy of his ID to Atlantic Lottery and informed to allow 6 to 8 weeks for processing as per our regular process. On September 15th we received the player's tickets but the ID was missing. ID is required to ensure all players who purchase or redeem prizes are age of majority. Therefore, on September 19th we sent the tickets back to the player asking that he resend with ID as per our procedures and this delayed the processing.We received the tickets and ID back from the player on September 27th at which point they were added to the queue of tickets to be processed. On October 25th, the tickets were processed and a cheque was mailed out to the player.All correspondences are recorded and available if required.
