We replaced the roof on [redacted], [redacted] roof on 07/21/2017.  Our job was to strip off the old roof, install new drip edge and we also added on Leak Barrier to the eaves of the roof.  At no point did we move the gutters, fascia or rake trim boards.  We have attached photos of the trim...

and corners and as you can see there are years of wood rot due to non-existent up keep with painting and proper caulking to keep water out of these areas.  We have an exclusion in our contract which the homeowner signed and initialed stating that we are not responsible for damage related to lack of maintenance.  We have answered their phone calls and have made two separate trips out to inspect the property and fix a few areas that we were just trying to accommodate a few areas that again we were not responsible for and were not built the correct way by the original builder.  The soft spots they are talking about is thinner decking that is not caused by rotten or decking that would need to be replaced, as they are solid nailing surfaces, they are not caused by installation of a roof. Selfies without permissions must literally be a joke right? There is no requirement first of all that our install team cannot take a photo of themselves with their own camera and their own face,  we do not use the selfies to market or advertise our services and therefore we are not responsible for obtaining permissions from homeowner for our subcontractor to take personal selfies with their personal cell phones.

They made sure that our siding, soffit, fascia, and gutters were all in good shape as well as the shingles themselves. I really felt like the goal of Sorensen Roofing and Exteriors was to protect our investment and ensure that our home would still be around for years to come. The entire process was 100% stress free for us. I would highly recommend Sorensen Roofing and Exteriors to anyone looking to tackle repairs to their home.
